That's what I figured:lol
But how's the body on it? I don't have any recent medicom figures, but I heard they use more durable plastic now.

I got the ROTJ version from SS about a month ago and I love it. I have had no problems with it at all so far. I think Medi really has improved their bodies since the old Ver. 1 figures.

Get the ROTJ Medi Boba. You won't be dissapointed. :)

Yeah.. ROTJ Fett has the updated body. First versions of Jango and Boba are on an old body type.
They seem to break after some time, as mine and other ppls did to.

So I'm considering getting a Boba Fett. Between the Medi and Sideshow ones, which do you guys think is the definitive?

Well, I don't think their has been a "definitive " version released yet. I think for an ESB version it's best to get the Medi and swap out some of the parts for SSC versions. I think he looks great. That's what I did. Now if you don't care about which movie he's from than I'd go straight for the Medi ROTJ. You really don't need to swap anything out. Right out of the box he's fantastic. I don't own one but I recently had the pleasure to see one in person and I really like him. There's lots of excellent pics in this thread of him.

Well thanks everyone for the input. I took the plummet and order the Medi ROTJ Boba with the $20 off code:yess: Now I got both him and Mark VII coming in hopefully next week.

Webb Head: This is my Medi Boba Fett ROTJ, with a minor mods. Incredible figure! I only added the clear tubes.

Thanks for all the great ideas for modding the Medi ESB Boba Fett in here. Ported mine to a TT Slim and goofed around a bit with it.

Had the Sideshow one for a while put it looked way to 'clunky', everytime I looked at it I only saw the parts I disliked so I got rid of it.
Got three Fetts now, both Medi's stock and I wanted to use the improved articulation of the Slim to get a nice action pose.

Stock RotJ Medi is in the back, IMO this one does not need any mods. Did put him on a Bespin Luke base for some extra height. I somehow like displaying my SW figs on 'good guys / bad guys' instead of having them ordered by movie.

Oh, great mod! I didn't noticed that. How did you do that mod, Rubio?

Need to cut and glue it?

No cutting. Just gently pull on the armor and it will come off. No damage whatsoever to the armor or the fabric. Grab some crazy glue, put a small dab on the underside of the armor, and hold it on for about 30 seconds. Eezy peezy.

Did the mod U suggest... Very nice indeed. More movie accurated.

Thanks for the tips, Rubio.

Hope u like it.

Wasn't that easy??! :)

Honestly, you probably coulda gone a bit lower with the armor. But any change is a good change. I hope you're happy with the result.

Just picked up the Medi Jango Fett 1st version. WOW am I impressed! Can anyone tell me how prone he is to breaking..? I saw some posts earlier that the 1st version figs are on the older bodies.

It's not real hard.... I should have done a tutorial.
Some parts of Jango is a little tricky to do, but not impossible.
Same goes for ROTJ Fett. ;)
I'll post some pics later :)

Thank you, that would help a lot. My biggest question on that would be how to get the torso armor off..? It seems to be one piece. I don't have to cut it do I? And does the Jango head sculpt fit on a TrueType connector?

Jango's upper armor is a vest. It's velcro along one side of the seams.
Just undo the vest and slide it off - jetpack and all. So yeah, that's the least of your worries! hehe
Getting his belt and holster off without breaking or cutting it is where the fun is! I found it easiest to disassemble his chest and stomach first and then slide the belt up and over his waist and then pull the rest of his body out from the jumpsuit - holsters and all.
As for his head... that won't fit the new body because the neck sockets are different in sizes.
I myself did a bit of a hack job to make it work. I cut off part of the socket that goes to the head and then cut the other socket that goes to the neck/body. Then super glued the sockets joints together. Maybe there is a proper socket/ neck adapter, but I couldn't find one.:dunno
His hand.... I'm replacing them. I don't like the plastic look and feel. Plus they don't fit without modding them.
His boots are easy.... pull the old feet out and then heat the boots with hot water or a hair dryer. When warm enough push the TT foot into the boot. ;)

Like I said before.. I'll post some pics later. :)
