That Jango really looks no better than the $40 one Hasbro produced in 2002. I say that with absolute sincerity and without an ounce of hyperbole.

I think the first release looks miles better BUT if I can find this clearanced out I'll definitely pick it up. I'm definitely in no rush though. The facial sculpt is a serious step backwards in comparison though at least in my Mind's Eye.

I'm alive and well. I just spend my time elsewhere these days for the most part. I got burned out on engaging in endless debate over toys & collectibles. :lol

You're actually not far wrong
The medi chest plates and helmet are better as is the body but I love the head sculpt and just sat on a shelf you are hard pressed to spot the difference in the bodies

Agreed! First release definitely looked a lot better than this. I'm quite disappointed but since I missed out the first one, this will have to do as a later addition.

Where in the heezy is Boba Fett?

Sideshow's website still says January 2011.

Can't comment on the Hasbro Jango (though the Medi sculpt has the typically rubbery appearance that I hate so much on their ROTLA Indy).

As for Boba, I loved the 2004 Hasbro VOTC so much that I bought two. Stood on a shelf he shares a lot of similarities with the Medicom (though lacking the Medicom painting and weathering).

If Sideshow ever get round to releasing their version, that will be the one I'll go for. Based on the Medicoms I have, I don't hold their products in much esteem any more. (At one time they were high on my wanted list, but in hand they were sadly disappointing).
