I took out my old Medicom Boba last night after looking through this thread and his left leg just fell off within the jumpsuit! Now I literally have never posed this guy in anything but a standing position. After doing some research I learned this is a common problem and I used the "screw fix". It took forever to get the RAH body stripped and a lot of time to find the right screw. Does anyone know if this is still an issue with the newer RAH bodies?

Although I've heard of this problem with other collectors.. I myself have never had breakage issues with Medicom figure's.

Well I PO'd mine to go with my Han Solo in Carbonite Environment. Waiting on both to ship to me. Excited!

I pulled out my old Fett and his arm broke off in the suit. I, also, was never, ever rough with him. Is the body underneath the Medicom Massive body? I would like to replace the whole thing. I don't think that it popped off, I think that it actually BROKE. Although I haven't stripped the body off of it yet.

It looks to be the same Medicom figure throughout the various lines, I looked up on eBay to see if anyone was selling one and there are two Indianas (nudes) and they looked exactly like my fett body except they were matt finish and Fett is highly shiny. The break on my leg was obviously showing a plastic issue as if it had dried out and kind of rotted, your arm is most likely going to be the same - good luck with the fix.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I saw those Indiana bodies on eBay, as well.

I will take the suit off of Fett soon. That way I'll be able to tell if it's something I can fix or have to replace. Would you mind elaborating a bit on the situation with yours? I'm not familiar with the 'screw fix'.

If I take a look at my Medicom Boba or Jango and the leg falls off, I'm going to employ the "screw it fix" and throw it in the trash or part it out on eBay. :lol

Lollers. Well, if that happens, send me the left arm!

Medicom just released both Massive 2 and Naked 2 body (under 4000 yen ea), you guys may want to grab a couple. These body are design to break in time. :panic:

Here are two sites showing my same issue with the RAH broken leg syndrome:

https://www.custom-workz-charoensap.com/2010/11/12-inch-medicom-rah-spider-man-repair.html

https://littlekidinme.blogspot.com/2009/08/medicom-broken-rah-301-naked-bodies.html

It really is a pain in the butt to implement this fix (or shall we say a screw in the butt? ;-) It took forever and a day to find the right sized screw.

Luckily I am one of those ridiculous people that when I throw anything away, I strip out anything useful... including screws. The screw I used was one of those.

It needs to be just long enough and thin enough to grab onto (and into) the far end of the piece, your best bet would be to remove the existing one and take it to a Lowes / Home Depot type of place and get one a tad bigger. Also, be sure to pose it multiple times before you put all the outfit pieces back on to be sure it took.

The other thing to think of is buying one of those cheaper, less popular Medi's and just take the body for your broken one.

I saw these, $40 a piece :(, anyone know if the size is true to the older ones? I imagine the massive ones are... bigger - maybe even true 1/6th...
