Good idea, don't carry what any of the medi fanbois say, that molded one looks craptastic. I think it'll be a huge bump to have the SS one placed over it.

I added it both my medis and thinks its awesome.

I destroyed my tomy, and put it's earpiece on my Medi. Comparison of the two earpieces.

Easy enough job for anyone with a good file!

It sucks that we have to spend an extra 25 or 30 bucks to find out though. While ec's pics are great, I'm not convinced they show the tomy at its best. In some of his pics it looks fantastic but in others the proportions look off. Only he can be the judge for himself what he likes best cause he's got them both in hand.

There are enough good shots for me to pick one up though thanks to ec. Damn you!!!! LOL!!!

Honestly, if you want the best sculpt, I still think Medi wins by an inch. The top dome of the Tomy looks a bit smallish compared to the bottom part. Still a great sculpt.

Best would be what I'm about to do, repaint medi, destroy tomy helmet for the tomy earpiece. IMO that is.

Need a good rangefinder though. That Sideshow piece is so ****ing big.

Honestly though, getting that earpiece of the Tomy was the easiest customizing job Ive done on this figure. Just sanding... and sanding... and sanding... Boring *** chore.

You should key in "Tomy Star Wars Helmets" You should be able to find them. I was just looking in my cupboard and found my Jango, Boush, Skiff, Biker Scout and the Rare chase Biker Scout with camo Tomy helmet.
