Yeah, this is gonna be an awesome piece. Koto does a good job so have no worries on the quality of the product.

Fritz you should. The statues themselves are great and very well done. The only thing I don't care for as much are the bases, but the statues make up for that little complaint.

What are your views of the clone trooper from Ep2?

I am thinking of buying it so any comments would be welcomed. Do you have to assemble these figures? I have never seen these in person, so I am ignorant about anything to do with Kotobukiya.

I think it would go very well with the Ep. 3 figure pictured above. If you like action figures, then you'll LOVE these. I have the 2 SW Shop Exclusive Sandtroopers, and I'm selling them. I really don't like Koto pieces at all. I took one look at both of these, put them back in the box, and immediately sold them.

Keep in mind that there is are several expensive variations of the Ep. 2 version that came out only in Japan. The blue and red were both limited to 1000 each, and go for a high amount on Ebay. Sound familiar? Here are current auctions for both:

Yes, but it is very easy. It really is no more difficult than your average GG mini-bust.

I dont have any of the clones so this will be my first.

They are really easy to put together. Not much to it at all.

If you like action figures, then you'll LOVE these.

That but also if you just like cool SW stuff then you'll like these. I mean they are SS or GG by any means but they are very good and cool items.

I saw those too and hated the look of them. :\ The clone trooper from Ep2 and this bad boy look great, and these would be the only ones (at this stage) that I would shell out money for. The current trooper looks good from one what I've seen of him...but I would value a collector's pics just to convince me it's worth taking the plunge and ordering him.

I saw those Jap. auctions...and I thought...nope, not going to that extreme. :thud

Then again, El, I may end up doing the same thing you did...sell them.

Absolutely right!

I went ahead and ordered that clone trooper from Ep2. can't wait to see it. The nice thing about this purchase is that I will not be a passive observer: removing it and displaying it, but I will have something 'to do', which makes a refreshing change. Imagine if Grievous was self-assembly. :thud

Nah, they areally aren't that bad.They do put off a nice Vinyl oder for a bit though.
