Maybe not in scale, but this is THE best interpretation of the SSD Executor ever released. And I have a case for it.

I never really liked the SSD since most of the detail was just layers of material rather than actual detail. The Star Destroyer model has lots of different detail all over which is what I like. I used to have the first one and it was pretty awesome. Had more pieces too.

I could have gotten the big falcon a couple years back for a great price, but held off hoping it would go down.

Well, you'll never lose your money with LEGO. Especially with Star Wars.

Except for all the kits that they replaced with new versions--Millennium Falcon, MTT, AT-AT and such. Those were all pretty valuable then they released new (better) versions and those are worth much less.

I was glad when I got out of it when I did, I had several of those (plus the UCS Star Destroyer) and got a good amount for the stuff. Now I've moved to better things.

Yeah, I bought a lot of the first sets and opened they are not worth half of what I paid Still pretty cool though, but once a better version is released the old ones just don't have that much of a draw I guess.

Well, like for instance, the first MTT came with 7 battle droids. The new one came with like 20 and was nicer, so of course the old one went down in value.

Yep, I still have the first X-Wing set, Vader Tie and Y-Wing set which while pretty damn cool have had better versions released afterward.
