Ummm... I may be going out on a limb here, but I think he was referring to the movie title, not Pippin's participation in the Fellowship. As in, "Pippin as he was dressed in the film The Fellowship of the Ring".

I agree with Woodsy that this is a good thing more LOTR items that folks have a choice from.

I hope in this line we see past characters done in the SSW line. It will be nice to have a choice to get that or stay with what you have. Not to say either one is better than the other but to have a choice is a good thing and having both is even a better thing.

The 12" doll line?......yeah it's finished. SS says its "on hold" at the moment, but we all know what that means. I would suggest you invest in Barbie or G.I. Joe [if they still even make them] if it's dolls you're looking for. I imagine Toys 'R' Us would be a good place to start your search.

Sorry creature ....that post wasn't meant for you. It was aimed at some of the bitter 12" collectors around here whose only pleasure, it seems, will come when/if SS terminate's it's other LOTR lines. Sure, that bitter, spiteful behavior is more befitting a five year old than an adult, but there's no accounting for some people's maturity level.

Mine too! The armoured Legolas outfit has always been my favorite and Boromir in Gondorian armour looks great as well. Mind you, the WIP Aragorn looks amazing and I love Arwen in her green riding outfit with Hadhafang drawn. Something tells me this new line is going to cost me a fortune.

Yeah, I can see this one getting expensive fast. At first I was like, I am going to be selective with this one but I honestly don't see this being an easy task.

I loved the 1:6th scale line and not pleased that it ended the way it did but I don't blame the other lines really. As a fan of LOTR I'm glad to see more lines and more ways for folks to bring this in. Maybe someday we'll see some more 1:6th scale LOTR. That would be great but if not thats ok we have some nice figures at least. Acting like a five year old to prove a point is generally not the best way to get your point across. Just a thought.

Thats the part that worries me. If they're only as big as the original SSW statues I would hope the price would be near that level. The $125-190 unless its something bigger like say a Balrog or Cave Troll. I'll be tempted to get a few pieces and probably will honestly.
