No, this is the print to display with the Marvel pieces:naughty

NewRoom063.jpg

nice "poster" :D

I would wager that it's something Avengers related... hopefully another 1:1

A Hulk or Captain 1:1 would be my first choice.

And please no one start with the: "well a TRUE 1:1 Hulk bust wouldn't be practical because according to the Marvel Universe, the anatomical ratio of Hulk's torso to head would lead one to believe that a 1:1 bust of this size would be theoretically improbable." :rotfl

I bet it's PF related, why else would they show PFs?

We need Wasp and Ant-man....not Hawkeye.

You gave me a idea, you know what would be cool...

A Goliath LSB with mini Ant-Man on his shoulder and Wasp has her own base (like mini surfer)

I would wager that this pic means that we're getting an Avengers PF or Comiquette in the next couple of weeks.

that's what i thought as soon as i saw, we're getting another avenger.:banana
and if it's not a pf, then why have all the pf's in the picture.
looks promising either way:naughty

:lolyeah but a TRUE 1:1 Hulk bust wouldn't be practical because according to the Marvel Universe, the anatomical ratio of Hulk's torso to head would lead one to believe that a 1:1 bust of this size would be theoretically improbable.
though i guess they just did a lsb that is really closer to a 1/8 scale than 1/2 scale.:naughty

If it's a PF and it sells out as quick as that Galactus head, i'm screwed. What will it be this time, a minus 5 second sell out! It will be gone before it starts. Wait, that's how the Galactus went. WhanNnnnnnnnn...

Crap, you beat me to it...

Just give me a 1:1 Hulk bust. :lol

Well.... Iron Man isn't a PF but a Comiquette. If its a 1:1 bust that'd be an interesting turn since it doens't really tie to the clue. An Avengers shot would indicate an Avengers piece. The thing is the only ones missing from that shot would be Giant Man or Ant Man and Wasp....the fact that they didn't put Spider-Man in there proves they are thinking modern so it has to be something considered "classic". Hawkeye is a good bet but then again so would be Vision. Unfortunately if you look at the ever changing roster of The Avengers you could get half the Marvel Universe as a guess....

The coolest thing is if they went with the fact that Giant Man often made himself around 15 feet tall in the presence of the Avengers casually. That'd be a Giant Man PF that'd be a little under four feet tall. Then they made a Wasp to go with it that'd attach with clear support to the shoulder so it looked as if she was flying above.

That probably won't happen...of course a group of Heroes could mean they need a villain to take them all on.....the only villain I can think of would be...

Ultron_165.jpg

No they shouldn't have. Cap had his rounded shield when he joined the Avengers in issue 4.

As for the set up, its just something geeky to do to show off the Avengers so far. In reality, the Classic Iron Man is the most accurate to show although its off.

Iron Man's mask should be the pointed tips version and Hulk left the Avengers in Issue 3 before Cap joined. So take it for what it is, just a geeky way to show off stuff.

You're correct about Cap. I didnt have my thinking hat on!

I was about to say that it couldn't be Ultron because Cap is stepping on his head but look at the picture that they released, Cap isn't wearing his WW2 head and shield but he's stepping on the WW2 helmet and not Ultron's head.

Hmmm......

I still don't think that it will be Ultron.

nice "poster" :D

Haha, far from a "poster." 5 ft x 2 1/2 ft Dynamic Forces litho by Alex Ross.

Thats actually a five foot litho. Very nice quality too!

Thanks for clarifying it praxitas. I had been looking for this litho for quite some time and then came acrosse one on Ebay that had a great price. I just got the frame in for it so I'll have it properly hung above the SS pieces tonight.

Just messing with you :D

It is a nice print, but I just don't have the space for something like that. The 2 Jerry Vanderstelt LOTR prints take most of my wall space as is. Waiting for the last ROTK one that will be just as big.

I know you were, lol. And it's amazing the litho I have makes the SS PFs look so small in that pic I posted.

When Ultron fought the Avengers in modern times and a few times in the Bronze Age he often wasn't alone....

That's cool.

I was just confused why they would have Cap in his modern outfit standing on the WW2 helmet instead of Ultron's head. Didn't know if that was a clue they were throwing out there.

I prefer this print to display with my Marvel pieces. You can include Doom and the upcoming Black outfit Spidey in the context of Secret Wars instead of doing an Avengers display.

Secret Wars was the best. :rock

I still remember going to 7Eleven every month for a year to buy that book.
