Picked mine up from the post office today...so cool, and my wife is gonna love it!

Only criticism is they were a little sloppy around the eyes. Can see the slightest edge of the fabric the fur is napped to, and there isn't really that much fur at all under one of mine's eyes. If you move the hair around just right it covers up though.

And a question: how do you move the eyes? Is it just by moving ten directly, or is there something else I'm missing???

I give this about a 8.5/10 !!!

Hi, you have to move them with a stick on the back of his head.

See- this is what I thought...I can't find the stick though.

It is a difficult to find because it is a little covered by hair. But if you use the top of your finger you will find the plastic stick. There are 3 positions (center, left, right).

I registered just to ask the following question.

Does the 2011 Medicom Gizmo have eyelashes?

Can't remember Gizmo having eyelashes.

Would be quite the mistake for a 300-400 dollar 'replica'.

Is there anywhere in Uk selling him or is it from Japan only guys? Love how amazing he looks.

Also, it was in gremlins 2 that they gave him eyelashes. Bigger puppet budget I guess :D

Thanks!

I like Gizmo more without eyelashes though.

Makes him less human and thus his origins more mysterious.

That's a bad picture. This one is a more typical shot. Here's another.

Don't worry, no mistake was made.:wink1:

Dear Jack Burton,

I believe Irvy when he says the eyelashes where only added in Gremlins 2.

Solemnly based on that, I would prefer a Gizmo without eyelashes.

Moreover I think the abstinence of eyelashes would make his eye's look less human and make one wonder more about Gizmo's origins.

All of the above leads me to ask the following (barbaric) question to the lucky ones whom actually own the new Medicom doll.

Do you think the eyelashes could be removed?

I am so happy i picked this guy up. The realism is mind-boggling and quite frankly it's second to none. The only downfall owning this piece is it drives my dog CRAZY :panic:

Congrats to all the owners!!:hi5:

Bezzerkerr, your gizmo needs a good haircut around the ears

Mine is at the customs from hlj, in a few days will be home :wink1:

Scouse, you have reason , I like more the look at the first film. One thing is wrong in this version is the shape of the nose. His nose would be more red an more rounded. But, the overall look make him the most realistic massive production gizmo to date.

Lovely pics Bezzerkerr

Certainly a favourite in my collection.

Steep price but pure quality from head to toe :)

Glad you enjoyed them. i wanted to own Gizmo for 25+ years and now i can finally say he's mine...great feeling. This is by far the most adorable piece i have ever laid eyes on. The little bugger's smile is just infectious.

Is he left in stock anywhere? Seriously considering picking this piece up it looks stunning.:)
