This. I did a search on Gremlins prop replica and stunt puppet, and I can't find anything on this figure. Not even on eBay.

Personally I was expecting something from the original Gremlins. Gremlins 2 doesn't appeal to me much. The creatures are not the same. They're more like cartoons compared to the original Gremlins.

Well from watching the show Hollywood Treasure,nothing from the first movie survived,I guess there was a fire and it destroyed everything.
I did see the Stunt Gremlin for pre-order at Alterego.com though. I might have to order it.

It doesn't seem like a bad price for something like that. If it was a Stripe-style gremlin I'd jump on it.

But that really sucks about the fire. Imagine all the prop gremlins and Gizmos that were lost...they should be in a museum right now.

Thanks, dude! I just preordered one from entertainment earth. I figure even if it's not that impressive in person, something like this limited to only 1000 pieces will definitely go up in value.

Some are over $1,000!!!

I checked "completed listings" and someone paid $700 for one a couple days ago. The ones starting out at over a grand aren't selling.

I've yet to understand why some people are paying hundreds of dollars more for the first release when it's the same thing as the Santa version without the removable suit. Same box and all. Is the lack of clothing worth paying $300 more? I don't get it. I guess some people think the suit is glued on.

Speaking of the Gremlins 2 stunt puppet, there's also a green version limited to 1000 to be released the 4th quarter of this year for the same price. I can't find any pics of it though.

I saw it listed at BBTS but it's now sold out. Urban-collector still has the green version. Is urban-collector a good site to deal with?

Isn't the size just right?

I just put gizmo in mine but now I need to find a good place to put it. I requested the cherry base to match something else but would have been happy with black too.

I have him piled in a corner now and he really doesn't look happy at all in his new case. I swear it's like he got sad. I'm building him a shelf today in a friend's workshop so maybe he'll perk up once he's out of the corner. lol

Aww, lol. Maybe your Giz just needs a little company in there with him like mine? He has his very own teddy bear to keep him happy, lol!
