Looks good but too bad it's from Medicom. They have short figures! :monkey5 :monkey1

carbon-fation,

A thought came to mind about the scale size on 1:6 scale figure market, West verses East. Remember that that the U.S. still measures in “standard/inch” verses the rest of the world measures’ using the, “metric system”.

A 1/6 scale averages in about 12 inches in height in the standard/inch yet if you convert in that, same/average 1/6 scale figure using the metric system, millimeter (mm). The conversion would be, 1 inch = 25.4mm. This means 11.8 inches tall. And depending on the subject these 1/6 scale figures could be larger than 12 inches in height or smaller, i.e. Medicom's Darth Vader or Wolverine (comic version), Hot Toys Predator

Just a thought.

Be Well,

Ben

Jack looks pretty cool, and this would be my preferred version as well. Maybe with Sideshow promoting that 24 book is an indication they'll carry this figure :D
I can at least hope right?!?

I hate to refute your arguement with a cliche but: math is universal.

One sixth of a Kiefer Sutherland is gonna be one sixth no matter what system your measuring stick is calibrated to.

how do you know sideshow is correct then? everybody claims that it is. Truth is no company has the right to call it "1/6th" scale.

I could almost go along with the size is relative argument... but, then why are the comic figures closer to 12"=1/6 than the movie figures? It doesn't make much sense how my Spiderman figures towers over Darth Vader. And as was said earlier, 1/6 is 1/6 no matter what the mean height of your population is.

But in reality, the whole scale issue isn't a big deal, just buy what you like and don't feel the compulsion for everyone else to agree with you. I love my Medicom and Sideshow figures equally for both their strengths and short-comings :lol
