Or Sideshow should have just made a better figure that people actually wanted in the first place.
'course it didn't help that every single release before Henry was plagued with issues.
Adventure Gear Raiders Indy: (I'll ignore the paint as that's a hit & miss across all their products) First figure on the pro and the body was filled with bugs. While some were okay, others were literally marionette bodies and regardless, the headsculpt was just too heavy for the neck to support.
Belloq: They pulled a Medi here. The sculpt looked absolutely NOTHING like the actor.
Toht: (I'll ignore the "soft" sculpt as it still resembled the actor) Glasses were a letdown. The Ex, the Ark, was an utter travesty. Not providing an accurate finish left droves of people to cancel the Ex. We saw it jump from a mere 10 left, to over 70 in what, 2 days? It's really a shame when a Hasbro product, which was basically $10 vs. Sideshow's $70, is more visually appealing.
Indy in German Disguise: Wrong color shirt, 1:5 scale noggin, non-removable hat, short launcher, and this barebones offering, for the same price as Adventure Gear Indy who came loaded with accessories.
In addition to this, they announced that crucial supporting characters were "long shots" pretty much admitting their lack of dedication to the line. And here, finally, they get something right, arguably perfect, with Henry, and announce the infamous "on hold" status.
