It’s going to hard to beat that Verhoeven vibe. I would watch this if it ever gets released though.

Neil Blomkamp and cancelled projects, what an iconic duo.

I'm still so sad thath is Halo project never saw the light of day. But we did get District 9 in return which is a fantastic movie.

The last Blomkamp movie I watched was some super lame sci/fi horror called Demonic and it was so bad I couldn't even make it through the whole thing. Dude's all over the place when it comes to the quality of his films.

Well, Verhoeven's film was a glorious satire of the novel's militaristic (and possibly fascist) tendencies, so I wonder how Blomkamp intends to tackle it.

Must be 30 years since I last read the book. Off to my book shelves to find it....

No matter how the movie turns out, it won't be able to match the soundtrack of the 90's movie.
