@jkno: yes. I have 2 Studio Scale TIE Fighters. One ANH eFX and one ESB selfbuilt. I put them both on custom stands as i did not like the regular eFX stand. My selfbuilt Studio Scale X-Wing ist on the same stand. All are the same height. The stands are of full metal.
All of my Studio scale models will get that same stand (on my bench: B-Wing, TIE Interceptor, Cloud Car, ANH Escape Pod).
