I've never heard anything good about Art of Toy. I bought a custom from them once of Keaton Batman and it was pretty much trash.

I have heard one thing that could be considered good. Their Nicholson Joker came with a seat.

I can't understand how this mob stay in business charging the prices they do. It must be a place of last resort. A guage to mark your level of stupidity.

Art of Toy is the outfit that first attempted to get Arnie Kim's work into mass production. He hates them with a passion. And quite a bit of profanity. I wouldn't buy anything from them.

I've heard this too, which is enough for me to not wanna deal with them.

I've shot them emails periodically and they keep giving me excuses about why the date has been pushed back twice, or how they're not able to get in contact with "mack & co", whoever the hell that is. At one point they sent me an in-progress photo of the headsculpt, which to be honest did look promising. And as for the price tag, considering that they sold the CRM Toys version for a whopping $500, its pretty merciful coming from those extortionists. Depends on how good the finished product is, I may have to fold and buy one.
