I was wrong, they listed it as premium format figure on their website finally.

Are her eyes green? It doesn’t look like it but it’s hard to tell.

Maybe it will be revealed soon and they have a different page ready (optimist view).

Or maybe they are re-working the entire thing because they realized they can't get it through production (pessimist view).

Or because its SSC and they are going to try to screw us somehow (collector's view).

standard licensing agreements require the licensee to meet certain milestones or lose the license. so in most cases you can't just get a license and sit on it.

Is it possible SSC thinks that it would soften the blow if they remove the X-23 pages for a week ...and then bring the pages back with X-23 labelled as a Maquette?
