Who does the newsletter benefit more. Sideshow or the customers? It's a good way for your company to advertise their upcoming product. So I say, cut the BS that the NL is Sideshow's "gift" to us all.

I always look forward to Thursday nights. A lot of times there isn't much I am interested in but its still cool that they even do it in the first place.

Yeah, it's not like they'll offer a second chance on HT Hicks or anything.

It benefits them more, but its handy in making sure you get those very limited items.

That's exactly my point. they do things like that to draw people in to view the newsletter which in turn advertises their new upcoming products. If Sideshow didnt do stuff exactly like this, no one would really be pressing F5 like a madman every thursday.

I just think it's wrong for them to come in and act like they are doing all of us a favor at THEIR expense. And people who are frustrated with the release times have a valid complaint imo. that's all im saying.

Everything they do benefits them thats the whole point of being a company, but it also give us a lot of info about the cool new stuff we can buy which is why we are collectors... everyone benefits.

I think Dusty's point was more along the lines that they are trying to level the playing field. They could have left it the way it was before where it was done some time on Friday and it was mailed to everyone and people didn't recieve it at the same time.

And dang Nash, when did you get so negative?

why am I being negative? I was bringing up my opinion on the matter. The only question I had was why dont they complete the newsletter the day before instead of the day it is supposed to be put up.

Thats a good question.

Being in California, I would think Sideshow could find plenty of "cheap labor" to get the newsletter done early.

I didn't mean that, I meant the negativity about the newsletter in general.

EDIT: Still to vague. I was referring specifically to the your comment about it being BS like it was a gift to us. And calling it a POS.

I'll do it cheap if I don't have to wear pants.

I wonder how many times I've said that before...

Yeah, then your newsletter will start looking like this:

I'm still not seeing the connection, but I guess that's the difference in our interpretation of Dusty's post.
