Okay; I don't know how I missed this thread, but I'll try and stay on top of it now. TOO many unfounder rumors floating around!!!

1) there are no current sketches outside of the well-guarded Hughes estate of upcoming statues. So you can peruse the new sketchbooks to your hearts content, there are no clues hidden there!

2) Doesn't ANYONE like the original British Betsy Braddock, aka, Psylocke?
Am I the ONLY one?!?

3) The upcoming statues are not set in stone. No pun intended. Already characters that were decide on in the early stages have been discarded. So one of the reasons we aren't releasing a list of characters on these is that the list is constantly changing. Sideshow has been really great, and are allowing Adam's preference for the characters to have some influence on who gets done. We are also making an effort to not produce "one more statue of so and so"; if you already have a glut in the market of a statue of a certain character, or a character in a certain costume, we might try and stay away from it.

4) And lastly? Look forward to a definite 6 piece line, with a possibility of a few more. But no guarantees past 6, and at this stage, NO ONE has discussed doing as many as 9, or 12 total piece with Adam or myself.

There already exists statues of Emma Frost and Black Cat from CS Moore, similar to what we have got in AH's line.

I agree, but it does save me money and cabinet space. Plus, i'm not being a completion freak when it comes to this line, only getting the ones I really really want.

I knew I was right. Only 6 confirmed. Interesting news that the line up is everchanging because in that original interview Adam said he liked everyone that he did. Well if I remember correctly it was he didn't dislike to draw those particular characters. If the character lists are changing then nothing can really be secured until announcement. I say that the line up finishes with Ms. Marvel, Sue Storm and Jean Grey.

Here is the thing, Jean Grey I think is a lock but she has been done lately in the Phoenix costume and that's the number costuming she is done in. What does that mean for AH!'s possible Jean? Will they avoid this costume?

Interesting point...
there are lots of other options I'd like to see them take.
A) If they wanted a flirty, fun but still sexy one they can have her done in her green mini skirt outfit. Have it like the "wind" blowing her skirt up a little from the back/front. Sort of like an oops/Marilyn Munroe type thing.

B) If they wanted something modern, sleek, sophisticatedly sexy they can do her New X-Men oufit:

C) If they wanted her to ooze sexuality, with some kinkiness they can do a Jean as Black Queen, spiked collar, red rose, and leather whip and all. It would make an excellent companion piece to Emma Frost to have both the White Queen and Black Queen in the collection.

Actually? I don't think there are all that many statues of Emma in her original White Queen costume. However there are like a dozen Phoenix statues (dark and lgiht) and probably just as many Jim Lee costume Rogue statues. So if Adam were to do either of those, he might instead do Jean Grey Marvel Girl or the Mark Silvestri Rogue. Or maybe he'd do the British Betsy Braddock as opposed to the ninja one. See what I'm getting at? If he does characters that there is already an abundance of statues of, he might take a (hopefully) more original approach.

Just becasue Adam's Marvel Maquette line will end around the 6 piece mark, doesn't mean his relationship with Side Show will. Adam's had a great time working with everyone at Side Show; perhaps another line of product will surface, which Adam would be a good match for!

That would be INCREDIBLE!!!

I wish he could do some.....*cough* adult reditions of some of the Star Wars women! (I LOVE that piece he did of Yoda dreaming of some of the Jedi women!!!!)
