Doubtful this is real. Looks pretty fake honestly. In fact, looks like someone did a shop job on a Mortal Kombat character or something. Plus that damaged grate in the ceiling just looks off, also seems like they just copy, pasted "Moon Knight" into the shot.

I said a long way back that the only Spider-Villains I'd entertain the notion of buying would be Stormin Norman & Ock. I'll wait to see if NWH has the Raimi designs, but you'd think they'd have done someone from the PS4 game too. What I wonder is if there'll ever be a proper MCU Otto and Osborn. Ock was my favourite as a kid, and Norman became my go-to guy as I loved the Dark Reign era back in the day (I might give in and buy a Loki one day just to have a Cabal posed next to my Illuminati). A Raimi-Man, a proper Miguel and a SpOck would be the full extent of my Spider-Collection. Maaaaaaaybe a Felicia if HT Makes an Arkham Knight Catwoman so I can have the pair. I used to think Symbiotes looked cool, but these days I don't care enough. And if a figure doesn't have soft goods or at least armour, I'm not too keen on spending the money. The more pleather the worse. It's why I still haven't bought Xenos and Preds just for completionism's sake (one day I might break down and buy that old Samurai Pred though). An Ock would look glorious with his tentacles, that's all I care about.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer. I think it looks pretty good. No interest in any figures though.

I'm sure you're probably aware of them, but did you ever consider the Toys Era Green Goblin (The Fiend) and Doc Ock (The Ock)? They're really good for third party figures and I got them to go with my Hot Toys Spider-Man 3 figure as I have no confidence these will ever be released by Hot Toys.

I don't buy bootlegs. Not that they're not good, I've seen some great ones. And HT began like that. But I don't see the point if it's not official with its box and everything. I pay the money for these things to have that "collectible stamp of approval". In any case, I'm not big enough of a Spider-Fan to hunt them down even if they're never made, just to own them. I'd buy bootleg comic-accurate versions of some key characters if the MCU ruins them, but that's it. Just a new Tobey Spider-Man would be enough to sate my nostalgia. But I just don't see an MCU where they have the Spider-Man rights and neither Ock nor Osborn at least, make some appearance.

If they're going forward with the Valentina and T-Bolts/Dark Avengers stuff, I expect him to come into play at some point, either through DaFoe or some other, newly cast actor. Or maybe they'll mix all iterations, Valentina will be the Osborn of the OzBolts and Zemo will be the classic Zemo masquerading as a hero and taking Osborn's place in Dark Avengers just like in the Original Thunderbolts, and we'll get a simple Thunderbolts Show/Movie with them as a Government-Approved Team that is public and maybe has a Black-Ops squad. Meaning that they won't need Osborn as either Valentina or Zemo will replace him in all the SHIELD/HAMMER business. Or something. I don't know. They're building up to the F4 and you have Kang running around, so I don't see how such a concept can work. The ante has been upped, how do you go back? Comics have always had multiple titles running around and the stories never ammounted to much, so the tonal whiplash was less. But here they've got a more streamlined version where everything progresses, so I don't know how the GA will handle going from magic rocks to space conquerors and then back to spies.

That SM3 figure was actually my first HT. But the ankles broke right out of the box, sadly. I tried to fix it and I only did it worse. I ended up throughly destroying it. All I have left now is the gargoyle base.

Ikaris, Sersi, Thena and if he suits up Dane, are the only ones that even have a shot. I'd buy a Dane in his Black Knight attire and I'm hoping more UK characters are introduced as I want to build my own Excalibur. I'll probably never buy a Kitty Pryde and Nightcralwer to make the OG team (X-Wise I'll limit myself to the Summers/Grey Clan, Xavier/Magneto and the Villains, plus the odd ones like Fantomex and Brand), but Captain Britain, Pete Wisdom, Black Knight and so on are locks for me.

Molina let the cat out of the bag, so he will be there in some form. If they do a Sinister Six, I'd prefer if they could do a more comic-y look to all of them. Raimi's designs fit the movies, but for figures I need a look. Mysterio is a great comic-y movie look. Sandman perfect. Goblin could use a touch up, Electro not even close for me. Yellow electricity, not blue. Lizard looked bad. Vulture was good for the movie, but I'd rather him be a green Falcon figure. Rhino was awful. Scorpion was in HC, but didn't suit up. The PS4 game is close enough and I would take those. Kraven is coming in his own movie so he could get a decent suit.

Those designs were better than the movie versions. Doc Ock, Vulture, Scorpion and Rhino in particular. I don't typically buy figures of video game characters, but in this case I'd make the exception.

I've read some interviews and both he and DaFoe are probably in it but anything can happen. If they're just cameos, then I want the old Raimi looks, accuracy to the comics be damned. If there's an Osborn that sticks, then yeah, I want a proper Goblin, preferably the way he looked in the old Marvel Knights and later Thunderbolts books.

But if they're both just cameos, then I care about nostalgia only. But these are the only two Spider-Villains I'd get. Even with Batman, I've rounded it up to just a few I'd potentially buy, and I'm planning a bigger BatShelf due to the BatCave aesthetic. Spider-Man for me is just Raimi-Man, Ock, Osborn, Miguel and if there's a sequel to the PS4 game and we get a Superior suit, I'd get a SpOck as well. But even with these rules priorities matter.

I was just going on a tangent and posting my wishlists again. Dane won't probably even suit up. I just like some the Brit Marvel characters so I want the dollies. But I'd probably just stick with a Captain Britain. As for Eternals, I think they'll do an Ikaris but not much else.

I don't know what to expect from what follows. I'll buy an MK; period. If they keep goind down the monster/horror route, I'll buy a Dracula, and an Elsa Bloodstone. Werewolf By Night, Blade, Morbius and so on, probably not. I don't want to get in too deep because then I'll get tempted to a Ghost Rider and then a Daredevil and so on. I'll get an MK & Punisher and stop my Street-Collection there. I'll stick with the Sorcerers and hope for some devils like Mephisto from the Horror/Magic side. From the F4, assuming they get cast properly, I'll get them all. Their villains too. Obviously every Doom variant. I don't know what to feel about Mayan/Aztec/etc Namor. Kang, the actor's just goofy looking. If he gets a mask that hides his face, I'll get him. Black Panther I'm torn on. I've been soured on the property due to the bandwagon hoppers, but I want an Illuminati display; they've been my favourite team since they debuted and even if he's a late addition, I want him to have it be complete. Which means I'll need a Black Bolt too. But then you need extras of Reed and the such to display away from their core teams... Cosmic wise, I may be tempted to buy a Thanos at some point, if they do an Adam Warlock. Really, I try to keep it constrained. Too many people in spandex is getting ridiculous. And I have stuff like Star Wars and one-offs to juggle.

X-Men will be the hardest, but I'll stick with some combination of the Summers/Grey Clan (Cyclops, Jean, Cable, Rachel, Stryfe, Maddie, Deadpool to hang out with Cable, maybe Havok), Xavier/Mags, Sinister, Apocalypse, Frost, Mystique, Fantomex, Brand and that's more or less it (maybe a Magik to go with my Sorcerers and a Storm if I get a Black Panther). Rogue, Beast, Gambit, Psylocke, Madrox and so on will tempt me but I can't go that deep. Really, I'll probably just get the ones that'd be in my Dream Team and display them like that, MCU notwithstanding. The X-Verse is just too big. And that's not counting the multiple costumes. If they do a Morrison-style group with the same exact suits, I'll be very tempted. Wolverine and his ilk I feel no connection to. Best case scenario I'll hunt down an X3 one for nostalgia's sake.

But really, a lot of that comes down to casting. If they look totally different to their comic counterparts, then I see no reason to get them. If they make Jean black for example, then the entire Summers display is scrapped. Costumes play a role too. I have thought of buying a Thor and a Loki over the years, because I like Mythologies, but they look less like gods and more like generic future people, that I've just never been able to. All of Thor's costumes have been especially bland. I don't know what's so hard about translating his Viking-inspired looks. Too much hassle in there. And they're all so fragile looking. But they cost a lot in the aftermarket it seems. I'll probably just stick with a Hercules. His design is too simple to screw up, no matter what they try. I'd buy a Russell Crowe Zeus in a heartbeat, but they'll never make him.

Doc ock would be a dream. Or sandman maybe even sm3 venom. His design wasn’t so bad. Hot toys said they were going to make him but made freaking new goblin instead lol.

I read about that. Post-Credits tease and all. Well, it saves me having to buy a figure right now. I wonder where the Hell he'll appear next though. I do want a Black Knight figure at some point.

The question is if it'd be just the magical X-Team, or a UK superteam. I figure the former would be an easier sell, especially considering it started as an X-Men Spin-Off. However, movies aren't comics, so there's no reason to have an entire X-Team devoted to magic when they mostly tackle different threats, especially with how they exist in the public consciousness. I mean, does anyone expect Inferno? I doubt they'll ever tackle the mess that is Maddie. Assuming they use the name and combine it with MI13 for a generic Brit superteam, I can see them having these people in:

• Captain Britain
• Black Knight
• Union Jack
• Meggan
• Faiza
• Pete Wisdom
• Spitfire

I'd say Blade, but I doubt they'll add that part of his origin. FYI, in the comics it was retconned that he's half-white and his dad is some random Latverian. So he's a Brit-raised mixed-race guy who used to dress like an American Disco frequenter. Capes! Anyhow, I don't know if they'd add any more things, like Death's Head, Dark Angel and the such. Honestly, I don't think we'll get a repeat of Phase 4 with them scraping the bottom of the barrel. Excalibur could show up in some fashion in the following movies as extras. And Captain Britain's the only one with a real shot at getting a figure, Brian or Betsy or whoever they use (I hope it's Brian, but you never know). Probably Black Knight too, if he suits up. Armoured figures sell.

Honestly, I don't know what to expect. They're obviously building up to some kind of Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts thing, but I doubt we'll get HAMMER, Sentry, Ares and the such. SWORD's already a thing and Brand's nowhere to be seen. And I've had her and original Fury in my wishlist forever. No offense to the SLJ version, but he's not muh Fury. It's why I've been hoping for a Hasselhoff cameo due to all this multiverse business, so that I could finally get a Steranko Fury. But Hell, even Valentina is now Old Elaine and doesn't have her signature white streak, so... This is the problem with liking characters who aren't certified A-Listers; you don't get the best dollies...
