It'll probably appear if it's getting a movie tie-in toy, as that's a movie version of the comic suit I posted above (plus the packaging has Cumberbatch wearing it).
Could be but it could just be concept art as well much like the black/grey Endgame War Machine that got a toy but wasn’t in the film. We'll see.

As for the new, mostly comic accurate costume, I think I still prefer the original as that looked more intricate and has more details ranging from the beads on the gauntlets to the multiple pleats on the body. It is a really well done costume even if it's not the more known big cross-mark comic version.

Eh, with the way they're playing so much with AUs and whatnot, I think it's likely he'll appear properly. Repainting a War Machine is much easier than sculpting an entirely different body for a one-off. The Clea I saw in the concept art with that Mordo, America and Wong is nowhere to be seen, so I don't think this Strange is a case of concept art leftovers. We'll see.

As for the costume, it looked too busy to me. All the random straps of cloth wrapped around the boots and whatever. Strange should look slick, not like some random mage from an RPG. I like the new, more streamlined and comic accurate look.

I know this won't be "next" but it certainly is something to look forward to when HT gets around to it. I was hoping for an outfit like this for him.

Why the name Defender? The Defender team Strange? Not sure on that one. He was so dark in the trailer I couldnt see what he was wearing, just that he was an evil variant.

Not sure if the new Strange look is different enough for me to get one. I like my DS1 enough. New sculpt, robes and accessories. Strange is definitely the accessory whore!

Logically, I could see HT making 8 more NWH figures in addition to the 4 we have already. Possibly even 10.

Hot Toys, we have taken care of you. Take care of us now.

Defender Strange is named like that because the look was a thing in the comics during his time in Fraction's Defenders and the general Hickman era.

Whether that's the same as Evil Strange, or if that Strange is Strange Supreme from What If, or if it's all a red herring, remains to be seen. One thing to note is that the temples in that costume are far whiter, so it's presumably an older Strange.

Who knows? All this Multiverse stuff makes for lots of cool bits. I'm genuienly still holding hope for Cruise Iron Man and Patrick Stewart Xavier.

And
Ms. America Chavez

I doubt she'll get a figure from this. Maybe down the line if they keep pushing her. I don't see Mordo getting a figure either. The Stranges and Wanda are the only real locks. Everything else is up in the air. But with how many characters are rumoured for it, who knows.

Hot Toys is gonna make big bank with No Way Home, can't wait to see their work when the time comes!

Steven Seagal Strange lol

Good call on the temples. Not sure if they will do a Defenders team with Strange, Hulk, Surfer and Namor, but that would be cool to see. This has filmed around the same time as Panther 2 w possible Namor, Ruffalo hanging around, just need a Surfer.

Who knows? It'd be cool if they gave us a small taste of what's to come with an AU Namor and Strange before Namor's proper debut. I doubt they'll be touching the Surfer before proper casting and the FF movie is underway, but them putting together a Hulk/She-Hulk, Strange, Namor, Valkyrie, and so on, small little Defenders team as "Magical Avengers" in an AU is possible. Latest rumours is that the reshoots are happening to put Loki & Sylvie in, so maybe Kang will appear too. And we still have the AU Illuminati leak with Stewart X, Monica, Balder, Ultron drones and whatnot. Mordo was from the same leak and checks out. His outfit is the same from the concept art leak that featured Clea too, so chances are good she's in, as all the other costumes in that piece turned out to be true. The biggest longshot is Cruise Iron Man, which I'm not really expecting, but if it happened I'd run to PO the figure, let me tell you that. Still, I tought the Multiversal stuff were a stupid gimmick at first, and while they're still a gimmick, this pure comic book-y randomness is growing on me. Maybe it's because I stopped hoping for proper adaptations and "good films" and am just enjoying the visual ride now. Still, I'm genuinely excited for MoM. I might even go to the cinema after 6 years to see it.

NWH really brought something special with the multiverse and it can be fun and eventful as long as it is used intelligently.

I doubt Defenders are in this. Defender Strange isn't Evil Strange. If Loki and/or Sylvie is in this, Kang should be too. Wanda might have dabbled and bailed on what she was up to. She might have released Gargantos or Shurma. Mordo w the dreads is weird. Looks like he has an axe to grind w Strange and Wong.

Hard to wrap my head around the objective here. I can only imagine there are multiverse occurrances and Strange needs to stop them and Mordo is against his methods. Perhaps a Kang variant? Nah, he's in Ant-Man 3. Clea? Bet shes a gateway to the problem. Not sure who the big bad is.

From what I've read (leaks and rumours), Dreads Mordo is part of an AU Illuminati group (the one with Stewart Xavier) and their Stephen went bad. Wehther that's true and Evil Stephen is that guy, or if it's the guy from What If, is unknown. Defender Strange is something I never came across, it's entirely new to me. Past leaks were focused on Wanda as the "big bad". Dunno where Clea even fits. This is the concept art I'm talking about:

755

As you can see, Dreads Mordo, Kate, Ronin Kate, Strange, Wong, Kamala and Hawkeye are pretty much the same as their actual, revealed costumes. Clea is the one to the upper right. I thought she had ravens with her, but turns out it was just branches. Still, I'm expecting her to be in it, I don't know in what capacity though.

Still, who even knows who's going to be in this? I have to say, it's pretty fun. It brings me back to before the MCU became too huge and everything was spoiled. I miss the days of shooting leaks though. Now everything happens inside studios in front of greenscreens, and there's no leaks of costumes or whatever else.

If HT make Ock, are people going to be okay with the tentacles being red and gold?
Without any spoilers, HT has no reason to make Doc Ock with red/gold tentacles and you will understand once you see the movie :)

However, I would be fine with ANY Dock Ock or Green Goblin "version" from Hot Toys.

I've seen it, so there's no worries there, but making them red and gold like the scene from the trailer is such a HT thing to do.

Maybe if they make 2 versions of the tentacles, honestly making them red and gold would be a waste since all of his best scenes in the movie have the arms looking normal.

HT better not do red and gold tentacles. Makes no sense after seeing the movie. Goblin is the tougher call IMO.

Honestly, HT should make a Sandman and Lizard
Sandman was in sand form the entire time. Lizard looks way better in the face than ASM. Both are molds with zero tailoring or cloth materials. If King Shark can be made and is $220, then Sandman and Lizard can. Yes, they both had decent time in the film as well. I could see HT, if they do make them, put them up for PO first and make you wait on Goblin and Doc.

Most importantly
MAKE MATT MURDOCK!!!!!!
