Yeah Venom came out of nowhere, don't think any of the streamers or anything expected Venom to drop like it did.

Looks like Monica Doo on Facebook called it, looks like she has a spotless record and also said Rex is this month
I think she is the best with info. Justin has been hearing some accurate stuff lately, but he isn't spotless. Just makes sense from a production stand point to line up the clones with their similar armor. Maybe Rex needed a little extra time since it comes with a sculpt. Guy on FB tracks HT metrics and an overwhelming majority of late figures comes with a head sculpt.

I have no idea who that is but sounds good to me lol.
Just some woman on Hot Toys/1/6th scale Facebook groups. Clearly she knows someone or some people with inside info. Hot Toys accurate leaks are really starting to become a normal thing now.

Gotcha, as someone without a Facebook, I wouldn't of known.

My source is you guys and whenever I see a youtube video pop up and I decide to watch it lol

And of course ducky, but I'm still waiting on Padme he promised me....

Clearly he wants the attention and there are plenty of others on YT that want it too. FB is the quickest source of HT info. I only use it for selling locally and to see what is going on with the HT FB groups. Great for early convention photos. Maybe too many HT **** posts and questions about why their shipment hasn't shipped out yet. Younger crowd.

I'm curious how many preorders HT has put up this year and how many orders they have actually shipped? Does anyone track that sort of thing? I would imagine the ratio is pretty bad.

Jürgen Schulz on One Sixth Republic keeps spreadsheet records of preorders and releases. I've never actually read them. lol

This was his latest report:

Yikes! I don't even want to count how many figures I have on order. I buy multiples of some. All I know is it's a lot.

It's the total of everything HT still has to release, which is broken down in the spreadsheets I added afterwards.

One graph there shows that 2021 has the highest average of announcements per month since his records began in 2016.

It will be interesting to see how aggressively HT supports some of the other upcoming Star Wars shows. I just can't believe it would be realistic to continue this kind of volume with Fett, Kenobi, Mando Season 3, Andor, and Ahsoka all on the horizon.

If they can see a continuing market I think they'll just keep churning them out, but it's got to implode at some point. If not due to buyers' ability to afford, then due to exhaustion or lack of space!

Hot Toys' ambition as a company has grown massively according to those charts, and Covid didn't slow down that ambition.

The summary of release dates shows that they managed to get 68.75% out either on time or early.

9.38% are currently less than a month late.

9.38% are currently between one and three months late.

12.50% are currently over three months late.

I'm exactly the opposite. I only have a single Scout, and the Scout and Speederbike on pre-order from Hot Toys. This focus of mine helps a lot with the limited budget and display space.

That Aries guy from SixthScaleCatina is literally full of nonsensical ****. It was kinda fun watching his stream couple of first times, then gradually you realized he was talking out of his @ss most of the time.

Yes, totally. It's basically him talking about his wish list and making it sound like they are legitimate intel. A lot of Youtubers don't seem to care about their rep and just throw guesses out.

It's important to operate within your limits sure. Limits being a relative term, there all sorts of different franchises and scales to collect. The best collecting "strategy" is to make enough money to buy whatever makes you happy.

I think the fact that they teased figures of Loki and Sylvie from Loki but never made them kind of suggests they might be releasing they're in over their head. Loki was pretty popular (personally was not a fan) but there was not a single figure put up - and they have the protos.
