But it'll likely be a meh day full of repaints and reissues.

I'd buy a Padme, especially with how empty the year is shaping up after MK, DS2, the Thor designs and the Kenobi leaks, but I'm not getting that silly white outfit. Black dress or bust.

If they go the aotc route, a clone of some kind, the C3po and r2, and maybe something else. I think they have to do a phase one clone. Easy reuse.

Tomorrow might be limited to 3PO and R2 going up for PO with the rest of the AOTC reveals kept under wrap until celebration. They could then add a couple more surprises with a Cad Bane reveal and a Cobb Vanth PO.

There really is no reason for them not to put a Clone Trooper out tomorrow. In fact, there's really no reason for them not to put Fives or Wolffe out - they have to be aware that a lot of people want those two in particular and they have the majority of, if not all, of the parts. Just need sculpts. Even a 212th trooper would just need to be a 501st repaint, they have everything they need.

Wouldn't be surprised if they make a shiny and call it a day, but there's plenty of other AOTC stuff I'd rather see...Padme, Windu, Kit Fisto, Padawan Ani, etc

Can't imagine they wouldn't amend that, since it wouldn't just be a cheap accessory thrown in for the sake of it.

The AOTC threw my predictions from another thread out the window. I did have 3 for tonight as well. Maybe there will be AOTC for both 4th and Celebration. I'll just go with Cobb, R2 and C-3P0, although Cobb feels like a Summer Showcase. Someone on FB mentioned J.C. Hong liked a member's photo of Padme yesterday, so it looks like she is incoming.

Cad might be like Mando Luke and took until July/Aug to be revealed. I'll have to scrap Black K. More Bad Batch might just be revealed when the new season starts.

Yeah, don't think any of us was expecting a AOTC themed anniversary, if anything, maybe a Clone or Padme to "celebrate" the film, which might be something we also get. If this means we'll be getting anniversaries for the original 6 films and a focus on those films, I'm down.

I'm being somewhat optimistic, Star Wars has not been a focus for the last 8 months or so, Fennec and Bespin Luke are really the only major things we've gotten, the rest have been troopers or repaints, along with the 1/4 Boba.

It's always best for them to be let down dramatically. Then you can laugh at how they felt they were owed by Hot Toys to deliver 8 figures at once. The complaints will come tonight/morning, I promise you that. I will give credit to that Shazam guy for posting on every Hot Toys announcement, that's dedication.

New reveals are cool but a lot harder to get excited for than they used to be considering the wait time is now 2+ years. I'm almost more excited to see if anything I want to buy is on sale.

I will say though that a possible indicator is the Sideshow Coming Soon listings. If one pops up to newest, it is an incoming preorder. Of course those are limited in number, although a specific Padme is one of them.
