I ended up making my own Death Star Trooper. Needs some work but it will do until Hot Toys finally releases theirs.

Thanks! Yes, that is a spare Praji suit.

The helmet is a 3d print of the HT helmet that came in the Leia/Wicket 2 pack.

And all I can think is how they couldn’t use Ford’s likeness somehow. Not optimistic for a future Hot Toy.

I have no idea why they did not include living Han, but it was just the first thought that came to mind. Perhaps it is merely a coincidence. Perhaps.

It seems obvious to me that Ford has revoked likeness rights for just about everyone.

That image in carbonite bears only a passing resemblance, and thats intentional. They left one of the main characters' likeness off the poster. That was not an accidental omission.

We shouldn't have too much longer to find out with regards to Ford. If we get an Indy (young or old) for the new movie, then you'd have to think a Han Solo or two come quickly after. IF that happened then I could see them taking full advantage and putting out as many Han Solos and Indies as they can in a short time.

The real Star Wars day, not that made-up commercialised May 4th. Didn't they put out all those clone vehicles May 25th last year? Not sure whether it'll be ROTJ or not, but it's reasonable to assume given the day, and given that it's a Thursday, it'll be Star Wars related. So Nebula it is then.

I got a spare Hasbro Imperial Officer to see if I liked the outfit better since I’m going for O12 figure looks. It’s not bad but I think the shirt may be a bit too short. I could port it over to a shorter body. We will have to see. Death Squad Commander variant may yet happen.

We have seen no announcement from HT that they will be doing figures from that movie, which is a big franchise. Which strikes me as, they're not going to be making any. Perhaps I am wrong! We shall see.

They're passing up so much money. It seems there must be a really hard and fast reason for that. You know, Occam's Razor and all: the revocation of likeness rights is the explanation that makes the most sense.
