I think people are being hard on the Bad Batch here, I've seen a bunch of hype for it on other social media and within my friend group - This weeks ep wasn't good though I'll admit that.

The show's got huge potential and I know it'll grow into the big shoes left by TCW for sure.

The ratings and buzz throughout have been pretty great. With the team established and where they're right now in the galaxy, I'm hoping next season is stronger. I want to get more into the transition of the Republic to the Empire, but I think that is something we'll see over the show's time.

But these shows sometimes have those stinker and filler episodes that get people down, this past episode was a chore to get through. Also think the older audience isn't a huge fan of Omega lol. We need some more development for Tech and Echo too. Mando had some bad episodes too, just like any other tv show.

Nothing is going to change anytime soon either, and we are probably talking years. The Fett show is coming in December and Mando season three after that. Followed by Kenobi, Ahsoka show, Mando season four, etc. Any dreams of huge drops of OT/PT characters are just dreams and nothing more.

There weren't any "bad" episodes of The Mandalorian. A couple "monster of the week" type episodes sure. Some episodes were definitely better than others(like any TV series), but even the lesser episodes were pretty damn entertaining. It's the most popular property in entertainment right now, period. That is why Howard is making every single character from the show.

I hope that they do continue to get at some ESB figures. Bespin Luke, Hoth Luke and a tauntaun, no idea on Han, a C-3PO and a Chewie.. I hope they went from blurgg to tauntaun in the R&D. I definitely see a ROTJ Vader coming since they've made or reissued quite a few. We could be done with the major OT characters if HT Mando'd shotgun'd them.

Ha, its not really Omega's fault. The problem is that we have veered off from the stars of the show and now we're down some Rebels rabbit-hole. Admittedly I have not seen this week's ep. so not sure if this is still a problem.

Even during the 'lesser' episodes it was still engaging. Helps when you're invested in the characters.

The only Bad Batch episodes I really liked were the ones with Cad Bane, Rex and Ryloth. And the first episode. Other than that, the show hasn’t been “bad”, it’s just not memorable.

I like Hunter, Tech, Wrecker and Echo. They’re an interesting squad. Crosshair is a good villain. Seeing Tarkin again is great. Howser was a standout considering how great it was to see a Clone Trooper use free will again. Rex is great as always.

It’s just Omega holding the show back. The rest of the cast is great. But the story is too built around her and the show can’t blossom. Elite soldiers taking care of a kid. Sounds like a cheesy movie on paper.

Again, the show is fine. That’s really all it is though.
