Just the key OT heroes for me moving forward. Gone are the days where I would purchase a figure on a whim.

Still just holding out for Bespin Han and Boushh Leia to close the book on my OT collection. But geez, the way the prices are going, could I even justify spending that much when/if they are eventually revealed?

I saw the prices creeping up last year and just said screw it, I don't need Bespin Han, I just need a better Han. Went with the Endor one and I'm not looking back. Hopefully he releases in this window that duties are paused for us here in the US.

I feel the same way, ot only going forward. I think the rots onslaught will be the test for me. Can i resist and be happy with what I have? Do I need grievous? Maybe. I don’t need kit fisto or Plo koon but my ocd could kick in and then I fly right off the rails. I’d be great shape this year if not for the sideshow cantina aliens. They blew up my whole scale back plan.

Was curious and went to look at the last Star Wars announcement from HT - Malgus on New Year's Eve. Before that Wolffe and Sinker on December 23rd, and Plo Koon on December 11th.

Star Wars has definitely slowed down a bit for HT, which I'm not mad about - but I do hope it means some Andor announcements will be on the horizon considering we're just ten weeks away from season 2.

I bet the next two to three weeks will focus on Captain America: Brave New world with the odd Star Wars / DC / Miscellaneous License reveal here and there. Not mad about the pause in Star Wars announcements either. Hoping for a few Andor reveals this spring even though i'm only cautiously optimistic will get much on that front.

I just checked and my last Star Wars Hot Toy was the Arena Boba Fett in 2022! Yikes! I will get charged for the Sandtrooper tomorrow and Jedi Han is on order. The new shows hold no appeal to me which accounts for my two year dry spell.
I’m sure at some point they will upgrade their initial New Hope figures and maybe release the Death Squad Commander. They probably need to get through the Mandalorian movie first although with all the Mandalorian figures sitting in my local comic shop, they may have to seriously rethink who gets made.

Yeah I'm guessing they will only ever do one Andor (if that), so the one look will have to work either stand alone for Andor series , and with the R1 crew if that's what one is building towards. I doubt they will do another.
Not sure what one look would be best to get?
Assuming (if any at all) it will be the Ring of Kafrene assassin look, which we know will bridge the gap between the last scene of the Andor series , and his first scene in R1.

Though the most utilitarian, look is his Jedha/Eadu parka and gear, as it should also contain, his basic Yavin Rebel Captains uniform underneath,
so it would be two complete looks in one. Three actaully if they want to throw in the sniper vest.

And fits best with the R1 crew, which of course would still need Baze who they once teased, and Bodhi (likely the hardest sell as a figure).
Plus those who wanted the partisans, Saw Guerrera, 2-Two-Tube-bros. etc...

I’m ready for them to start making some announcements for the ROTS anniversary. I also hope the next Artisan is Star Wars related, since we’ve only gotten Anakin and Luke and the rest have mainly been Marvel.

Biggest must-haves for me and then I’ll be approaching the endgame.

• ROTS Vader. I don’t need the burnt portrait, just give me the full suit. I’d take the operating table though.
• ROTS Chancellor Palpatine. Make it a DX type set which includes everything you need to recreate clean and scarred looks.
• ROTS Emperor Palpatine. Need him to pair with ROTS Vader.
• Bespin Han Solo. Please HT. Just tweak the ROTJ Han figure and give him the navy jacket and different hairstyle. Wishful thinking for a younger sculpt but I don’t care if they reuse the older Jedi face.
• TCW Ahsoka (Siege of Mandalore) in animated stylized form! Never happening but a man can dream. At that point, I’d want Rex as well. And the mains like Bo-Katan and Maul but in stylized form!
• Hoth Luke w/ Tauntaun
• Dagobah Training Luke with seamless body w/ a fixed Yoda in backpack.
• RO Cassian. Then I’d get K2-SO to have the trio together.
• JFO Cal w/ BD-1.

2.0s I’d actually really want:

• TFA Rey & Kylo Ren. Then I’d sell off TROS Kylo. I’d keep TROS Rey though.
• I guess rooted ROTS Obi-Wan… to pair with DX34AE Anakin.
• I’d be down for an Empire Snowtrooper 2-pack 2.0. The current aftermarket prices for the 1.0 are ridiculous.
• ANH Farmboy Luke w/ little sand mound display (almost forgot about this guy! The quintessential look to represent “Star Wars”).

TPM “26th” figures I’d still get:

• Queen Amidala
• Jar Jar
• B1 tan colored battle droid w/ STAP (Trade Federation colors)
• Anakin

I’m down for any and every ROTS clones and Jedi. In general, new characters from the Prequels and Empire.

And if they 2.0 Yoda, Dooku, Qui-Gon, Cody, etc just like they did TPM Maul, then I’d begrudgingly get them and offload the 1.0s…..

It’s weird cause if they make TPM or AOTC Obi, I’d probably get them, but I’m more than satisfied with the ROTS version since that’s my favorite and definitive look. Anakin has more visual differences throughout imo, so that’s why in his case, I’d for sure want all three. TPM Ani with a mini pod racer cockpit would be chef’s kiss.

Now that I think about it, I also would go down the rabbit hole of getting the JazzInc dios like the Falcon cockpit, the Bespin Duel platform and even Rey’s Jakku speeder.
