As much as I would love the blue Parka, I'd settle for the khaki uniform version and the blue sleeveless jacket he wears when leaving Yavin.

The yellow and blue also looks pretty eye-catching.

But as we all know Hot Toys will probably give us nothing that we want.

When I think of some of the bs figures they release some of the maybe's surely must be possible. Only problem is that Hot Toys knows Star Wars is in the toilet at the moment. So they will remain conservative.

I bet nothing we want. At least at first. They made about 700 figures from the ahsoka show and zero from andor season one. They did make axe f’ing woves! Reread that sentence.

Too bad cassian wasn’t in ahsoka or the mandalorian. I don’t trust hot toys.

I still can't work out why they didn't make Cassian originally for Rogue One ?? But they made a Deluxe AND imperial disguise Rey....I mean Jyn.

With the TIE Fighter Pilot going up this week - anyone think that's going to open the door for more OT this year? Especially with Andor season 2 a month away?

They've done every Luke imaginable except for Hoth Luke, can't imagine another Han is coming with the Endor version not out yet, and who knows if they can make another Leia/if they have Carrie's likeness rights still. I'm unsure if she controlled her own likeness or not. Also doubt they'd go back for more Vader with all the ones they've done lately - would most likely be ROTS if anything. Unsure if people were waiting on General Calrissian but Lando seemed to sell pretty poorly. Still mad at myself for pre-ordering that one.

Makes me wonder if they'll do some secondary character. I've always wanted Piett and Veers and would definitely get rid of my Gideon figure to make a spot for one. Would be cool to see Wedge and Biggs - Admiral Ackbar/Nien Nunb feel possible after they pulled the trigger on Plo Koon and Kit Fisto. Maybe some of the bounty hunters? Bossk and Dengar?

There's not much else untapped unless they want to go really deep with Lobot, Admiral Ozzel and Crix Madine. Which would sell like ten figures each.

Not a chance. HT does 1-2 OT figures a year, max. This is probably all we get this year.

Normally I'd agree with you, but they're not touching the ST, they've kind of milked the PT/CW lately, they did everything they could from Ahsoka and Mando, and they seem to be allergic to the video games for whatever reason. The MCU cash cow has dried up and they can't artisan their way through everything. DC doesn't have enough coming up for them to turn to.

If they don't go deep on Andor, what from their "big three" do they really have outside of re-visiting the OT?

For this year, I’d like to see them focus on the PT. Announce some remaining requested figures from TPM like Obi Wan, Qui Gon, Jar Jar, Nute Gunray, etc, and of course, go all out with the ROTS line. Then for next year and 2027, go all out on the OT to celebrate the 50th anniversary.

I like the logic, but we've seen anniversaries don't really seem to mean much to Hot Toys. They did what, four figures for the AOTC anniversary that they hyped up? Two of which got announced on New Year's Eve and one (Windu) turned out like crap? And don't get me started on the ROTJ anniversary.

I'd love it if they went all out for the ANH 50th. Artisan Luke, Han and Leia, full leather Vader, regular figures of Wedge and Biggs, Greedo. No way I'd get all of them with the rising prices but it would still be cool to see. Still, I can't see them caring enough to make a big deal out of it.

At this point I'm just happy I have decent versions of the characters I love and don't feel a need to upgrade everything given the way the hobby is trending. Just personally hoping for Cassian, Kanan and Cal and I'll feel "complete" with everything else being icing on a beautiful cake.
