I would LOVE another fellowship member. I am very anxious to have all nine displayed proudly. I voted for gimli because that is who I want. I have a feeling we will be seeing at least 2 non-fellowship releases before we another fellowship member.

I would love any figure on that list (with Lurtz and Arwen being towards the bottom) but I voted for Gandalf. I've got to go with the Fellowship first and foremost and he seems to be the next most likely candidate. But oh how I want a Nazgul.

Anyone think a nazgul on fell beast (or even a horse) would be a possibility? I kind of think it would be a Jabba the Hutt type item for the LOTR line.

That's actually a possibility. Good call. I guess that's really the only way to make an articulated Lurtz work at 1/6th scale.

My guess would be that Gandalf is next since his outfit isn't too complex and he's a fairly popular central character. I would love to see a villain though such as Saruman or the Nazgul to balance out all the "good guys." I fear that characters such as Lurtz and Orc soldiers will be a ways off (if ever?) at the current pace. Just keeping my fingers crossed that this line stays alive long enough to see all these characters made.

Given what SS has just done with a similar character that undergoes a transformation in Star Wars, (Palpatine) do any of you think it's possible that SS might do Gandalf as a Two-pack with Gandalf the Grey and Gandalf the White?? Grey has a hat, white doesn't, the staves are different for both, you could included the the Palantir as a accessory for White. Thoughts??

I like the idea. With the Grey being the the most-wanted version, SS could definitely sell more of the White this way. My only concern would be that it would cut down on possible "extras" that may be included if they were sold separately. For example, I would hate to miss out on their "pipes" or similar little tidbits.

I know I'll definitely be looking into adding an LED to the tip of Grey's staff!!

I wouldn't mind a 2-pack of Gandalf, but I don't really want variants yet. I'd prefer a White Gandalf from the get-go... but with the PF being white, and all the 12" being from the Fellowship, it's more than a guarantee that our 1/6th Gandalf will be the Grey.

At least with Grey, the white wizard Saruman will stand out better on the shelf, and can actually go with Gandalf the Grey.

Maybe they could do a two pack of Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White. If they were to make a two pack for Lord of the Rings I think it would be a good one to do.

I still think Merry and Pippin are coming real soon after Frodo and Sam. They just got the new body so I would think they're going to use it as much as they can.

With Lord of the Rings there are just so many characters that it makes this waiting hard but the nice thing about the slow pace is it is easier for the wallet.
