I would love to see a 1/4 scale figure however I have a niggle in the back of mind it may be a diorama.

I'd prefer a figure but I'd be happy with a diorama

Just listening to the podcast, I think Sideshow are being very sneaky about this.

I know a lot of people would cancel the bust (myself included) if a figure was confirmed. Instead they said in the podcast they were leaving a gap between the release of the bust and in announcing the next item. Therefore its either keep the bust & buy a new figure when its announced or cancel the bust and hope that they bring out the piece that you want.

I know people will tell me I'm not being forced to buy anything but I think Sideshow could be a little more forthcoming.

Being a company interested in making money I'm sure the delay isn't for altruistic reasons to let people's bank accounts recover after the bust!

I have a tendancy to agree that the next item will be big ticket and in order to keep the orders for the 1:1 stable that they'll wait until after release to announce the next piece...

Yeah, the next item will more than likely be over $300. They definitely know how to work us, I'll give them that. But yeah, if them announced a PF or Dio, I'm guessing some people would cancel the bust.

Either way, SSC & IM have my bank account by the bojangles!

Nice to see some people agree with me. I was afraid I was going to be branded a moan for having the gaul to criticise Sideshow.

Its less a criticism of SSC and more of an acknowledgement of the business practice itself. Its smart business, people leaped all over the bust because A: It was the real item done for the IM film (I don't count the archives) and B: It came out just in time for all the hype to strengthen the sales.

If people knew a PF was just a few months away then they'd happily wait. Not knowing if it'll be just a different 1:1 or even another archive set makes you less trigger happy to get rid of it especially those who got an awesome AD deal.

Yeah, either way I'm keeping the bust. My Flex-Pay doesn't start til July, so it's fine. But I will definitely get the PFs or Dios as long as they look good. I'm guessing we won't see this new "item" until around Thanksgiving time if not later.
