I am pretty sure that last night's game was the second most painful footbal experience that I have ever felt right behind the Superbowl loss to the Cowboys. I am at work, today. But where I want to be is at home, in bed, in a tight fetal position, with my thumb in my mouth.

But I still say...the year is not over until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. They showed some signs of life last night that they did not show in the first two games.

It was a game with real ebbs and flows. The Steelers looked pathetic to start, then made a nice run and were in the game, and then shot themselves in the foot to end it. Considering that the Bears feel like the real deal this year, I wouldn't say it was something worth getting too discouraged about. Though I wouldn't go so far as to say it was encouraging, either. . .could have been worse! They could be the Giants!

Good words...supportive...I need that right now.:lol

Surprised to come back on here and see the negativity towards Kaepernick. I watched the whole game, and while the 49ers are surely not cohesive as a whole right now, I don't think Kap is the issue.

Without Crabtree, Manningham, and now Davis, playing, the small receivers they have on the roster weren't getting off of press coverage or open most of the day. Only so long Kap can wait for them to get off coverages. And the defense has been playing soft. They don't play like the bullies they wer elike the past two seasons. Can't seem to stop teams going down the field on them.

And with Gore finally have a very good first half, why did he only get the ball THREE times in the second half? The 49ers will need to bounce back against the Rams on Thursday. A team they couldn't beat last season. And now they may not have Willis, Davis (though he did practice), and obviously no Aldon or Crabtree.

On a side note, I'm happy I have almost the entire Bronco starting lineup on my fantasy team. Holy crap!

oh, and, those G-Men have MAJOR issues. It's too early...but at this rate the Broncos and Seahawks look like the creme of the crop.

It's not completely Kap, but he deserves some blame. He threw a bullet to a wide open Kyle Williams on the flat that almost took his hands off. And him not taking what the defense gives him. And he's been second guessing himself in the pocket for 3 games straight. You can't do that in the NFL. That causes Offensive holding and defenses are too fast. They react to you first then the ball. If he's gonna run then run and pick up the first. Don't run then back right back up into the pocket. Just get the first down and we'll move on from their. Too many times these last 3 games I've seen Miller and Gore just staring at him with their arms out. Or Vance wide open down the field and he's got eyes LOCKED IN on Anquan. Not acceptable.

I saw him second guessing and double cluthing this game. But the Seahawks game he just had pressure in his face the whole game and the Legion of Boom wasn't giving any of the receivers any room to breathe. However, the first game of the season he looked razer sharp and very decisive in my eyes.

But, yes he does tend to lock on to one target. That was what he did with Crabtree all last season once he got into his groove with him.

You should see me going crazy in the house. "LOOK THE **** DOWN KAP"
