I hate it when the Raiders beat the Steelers. I would rather beat the Raiders whenever we play them than make it to the Superbowl.


Oh, well...the game is far from over...and even if it ends like this, there is still the Superbowl.

The New England Patriots agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for veteran defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga just minutes in advance of Tuesday's 4.pm. ET trade deadline. They will send a 2014 fifth-round pick to the Eagles for Sopoaga and a 2014 sixth-round pick.

So Rutgers' long snapper is going to get picked in the 6th round and not the 5th.

He fills a need. The team has sorely missed Big Vince in stopping the run game. If Kelly returns, a four man line of him, Sopoaga, Jones, and Vellano sounds half-way decent. Good deal.

Some folks here in the Twin Cities actually thought Vikings' Jared Allen would be traded. I kept saying who is going add or can afford $7 million on to their cap for this year.
