Seattle/Frisco was the superbowl imo.... Feel sorry for the companies who wasted millions on 3rd and 4th qtr commercials lol.

Well, I was rooting for the Hawks because they KOd the 9ners (hate the 9ners and GB) but I didn't see this blow out happening. The Hawks were just faster and more physical in every phase of the game. Congrats to the 12th man fans out there. A very deserving win.

That was interesting. Lots of dejected people at the party I went to. After the second quarter it was on to self mockery. I love Russell Wilson. Personally think the Broncos should have drafted him and not even bothered with Manning. Manning will always be remembered for his failings in the playoffs more than his 1 SB win.

Awesome game I still can't believe seahawks dominated the best offense of all time holding them to 8 points is unbelievable
Victory parade Wednesday is going to be insane

And I'll get to watch it from my window at work.... well... the 26th floor window. :)

Congrats to Seattle. Dominant in all facets of the game. Percy Harvin played in what, two games this year, including the Super Bowl? But his performance last night made the trade and subsequent contract extension worth it.

Seattle is so good defensively, and one play in particular exemplified that to me. It wasn't a highlight reel sack or interception, but a "normal" tackle. I don't remember what quarter it was in, but Kam Chancellor had coverage responsibility on Julius Thomas down the seam, and was with him stride for stride; but when he noticed Wes Welker on the underneath route, he broke off coverage to go with Welker and made the play. So disciplined defensively.

I hate that the numerous talking heads and outlets on sports radio will be going to go on and on about Peyton Manning's legacy. He didn't play his best game, but none of the Broncos did. But Manning is a class act all the way. I'd rather have my kids emulate and idolize Peyton Manning than someone else who has won numerous championships but doesn't carry themself with clas, humility, and dignity.

Damn what a game that was! My voice is so hoarse today. :lol My boss already told me we are all going downtown for the parade Wednesday. Can't wait! Such an exciting time to be in Seattle.

Honestly I would prefer my kids not to emulate him, either. Not to say I prefer the behavior of other entitled, bratty athletes over him, because his behavior surely is preferable. But he comes off as so damn artificial and insincere all the time. Everything seems like politically correct, carefully prepared BS that he is "supposed" to say and do. He's a good guy to emulate if you want to be a lawyer, businessman, or politician though.

Congratulations Seattle fans. Seahawks did so well that they made it a boring game for everyone outside of the home city. And although they are a rival to my team, I've come across so many good Hawk fans that I even got to enjoy your win. And...Cam Chancellor is a BEAST.

Might be my favorite player on your roster.

Happy to see such a young defensive team be so disciplined and dominant. I agree with DinoDB. The most impressive play to me that entir night was Cam's break up of that pass. That and that hit he put on D. Thomas in the beginning to set the tone.

See you next year. You guys got yours. Hopefully I get mine lol.

Rewatching the game, I think it's finally sunk in that the Seahawks won the Superbowl!! So many years without a championship in Seattle and with the Sonics being stolen from Seattle.... it's been a loooonnnng 35 years...

With the offseason now in full effect, I think the best thing to do for the Seahawks is to release Sidney Rice and sign/extend all the other guys (Tate, Bennett, Sherm, Earl). Rice is great and I love having him on the team but I feel like he really isn't worth that high salary he's being paid. That plus the emergence of Kearse and Baldwin and with Percy seeming to be at 100% now just make the chances even higher. Plus, Tate said he'd be willing to take a hometown discount just to stay with Seattle. And I think if the TE Miller takes a paycut then we'll be in good position to sign/extend the other guys. If not, Luke Willson been playing good for just his rookie year and I see him improving a lot.

Bottom line, I hope these guys (especially Sherm and Earl) see how special this team can be and don't opt out just to make big bucks somewhere else

GAHHH!!! DAMN YOU OFFSEASON!!!!

Wow Thursday night games are moving to CBS for the first 8 weeks. Also sounds like 2 sat night games at the end of the season.
