Can not believe the Lions are still in this. I am still waiting for them to fumble the ball or Stafford to throw a interception. I mean, the Lions are gonna eventually be the Lions some time during this game and screw themselves... I honestly expected a blowout. It has been a great game.

WHAT DO YA KNOW HAHAHAHAHAHA

And can someone muzzle Gruden? I am so sick of hearing him gush on about everything single thing the Seahawks do.

You know, sure, the refs blew the call.... but if Johnson never fumbled, the ball would never have been hit out of the endzone. I put the blame on Johnson more so than the refs.

I'm not taking blame away, but it's just amazing how many times the refs can give games to Seattle or just inconceivable lucky bounces go their way.

The fact that the ref is flat out lying to cover up he didn't know the rule makes it worse.

Can't really fault Calvin for trying to make a play, he was literally six inches to a foot from the end zone. As Grenouille mentioned, Kam Chancellor just made a better play. Seattle's going to have a hard time keeping their talent, but Kam returning from his holdout won the game for them. I know, I know, the "butterfly effect"...change one tiny thing and it changes everything else. But Chancellor knocking the ball out sealed the win.

(I'm not trying to minimize the blown illegal batting call. But since it was a missed call and non-reviewable, it's a moot point)

I can. As someone who has watched the Lions for the last ten years Calvin tries to make to many plays instead of taking the easy yards. He tries to make these big plays and ends up fumbling the football a lot, especially in his early years. He has learned to go away from this, but it cost the Lions a game again. If he he just gets down and stays at the 1, no fumble, he had to protect the football in that situation instead of one handing it. He gets down takes the easy yards and set the Lions up at the 1, they have four tries to win or tie the game.

Instead Calvin reverted back to his early years and tried to force a big play and he fumbled it, then the refs blew the call..... the refs are to blame, but Calvin needs to take responsibility as well.

In general this rule of fumbling it out the back of the endzone is just stupid in itself. Ball should go back to the original line of scrimmage for the team who fumbled it.

yea, Seattle got lucky as hell last night, but they blew it last year when it counted most, so it goes both ways usually.

Sad but true.
Not even close and you would have to very little understanding of QB play to even think that. The entire team stepped up last couple games. They have NO run game and all of sudden with Luck out Gore actually almost runs for 100 yds. Luck has the longest steak without a 100 yd rusher and in the second game he misses Gore comes up 2 yds short. The line played much better. Luck has been asked since he got there to carry that team. The last two weeks the team played much better as a team and they didnt make the QB do everything.

:lol I was joking.

But Matt does have better numbers and more wins than Luck this year.

Holy crap, who did luck play against and who did Hasselcrap play again against

Does not matter. Luck is an idiot who forces throws, instead of living to fight another down, he just gives the opposing team the ball. Hasselbeck does not do this. Other QBs with a solid knowledge of the game do not do this. Luck is costing his team wins.

You sound like you spend to much time listening to that idiot Skip Bayless on ESPN.
