He still won't care

True, but sooner or later the fans will start to doubt the team and sales could decrease over time. You must've seen them showing the fans actually crying :slap

It's like the analysts say you could have a perfect season and it doesn't mean squat if you can't advance to the next round in the playoffs because in the playoffs, every team involved goes back to a zero record

Porter had every right to be on the field during the injury timeout. I'm sure he said something to Jones that set him off but it's Jones responsibility to control his emotions. Irregardless, a player cannot put his hands on an opposing team's coach.

Here didn't have any right to be put there in the middle of Bengals players. Second he is not an O coach so he had no reason to be out there. He went out there to cause problems. The refs allowed it since they had no control of the game and then finally with less than 20 seconds left to try and take control.

It's a bye week when you play the Bengals in the playoffs.

Not quite. This game came at a pretty big cost. I'm a HUGE Steelers fan and am happy they advanced. However, they are playing the Broncos D next week and Ben (if he plays) can't seem to throw the ball more than 10 yards down field. That can have a big negative impact on the game. Not to mention, who knows if Brown will even play? If AB can't play because of his concussion, now the Steelers really have a problem. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the Steelers won, but it came at a HUGE cost. I don't even know if next weeks game will be competitive given the shape Ben and AB are in. I was really hoping to see a classic and competitive battle between the Steelers and the Broncos next week. Unfortunately, it has a good chance of turning into a laugher.

:exactly: he took advantage of the situation. He knows the Bengals under Lewis all to well and hard not to when you have the same crummy coach for so many seasons how can you not.

If anyone noticed in the footage, Porter is smiling, you can tell he was thinking " I knew it "

Owner is just too cheap to fire Lewis. From the owner's standpoint the Bengals are selling out home games and hosting a playoff game each year....that's millions of dollars in his pockets....PERIOD.

As a Steelers fan, I'm happy to hear that. Nothing better than seeing Lewis on the sidelines for me. Especially during the playoffs. Now I just need Green Bay and the Redskins knocked out and I can kick back and enjoy the playoffs.

Except in bye weeks you don't have your QB slammed to ground and injured and a top receiver KOed.

Hell no is it a bye week with the Bengals in the playoffs, not with that defense. More like teams should expect that the Bengals under Lewis will beat themselves in the end because of horrible offensive play calling, discipline and decision making.

All the teams have to really do is make sure the score is close and stay in it, too never give up

Don't worry with those defenses, they won't make it past Arizona or Carolina unless Rodgers has a phenomenal performance today and next week if they win.

Worry more about Seattle and the LOB and Wilson, they can take out either Arizona or Carolina out of the NFC Championship and more than likely the SB:lecture

Even with a banged up Ben, Denver should still be worried next week because Manning is rusty and Tomlin is one hell of a coach

So on the ESPN scroll this morning, it said that Porter could be fined and that assistant coaches aren't allowed on the field during time outs/game stoppage.

That shot of the grown woman crying at the end of the Cincy game last night was pretty disheartening. It's better to be shut out by your opponent at home then by snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

The refs apparently allowed Porter on the field due to legitimate concern for Brown, but yet the NFL says as you said. Assistant coaches aren't allowed on the field.

Looking back, refs did seem to botch that last call. They didn't cost the Bengals a win though, that loss is on Jeremy Hill and Burfict.

I don't get it, gets cold in Washington. It snows in Washington, They make Seattle sound like Saints or Dolphins or Bucs playing in this :dunno

It gets cold in Seattle... like in the 30's. It snows in Seattle... in the mountains. This isn't just cold this is cold to your bones cold. And it seems like Seattle just can't function.. But only being down 3-0 means Minny isn't doing much better.

It doesn't help when Pete calls for the punter to run it inside there own 30 yard line..... basically handing Vikings free points.

I'm pretty sure he panicked and ran after the bad snap. Not even Pete is crazy enough to make a call like that.

It gets colder than that in Seattle when there's a winter storm coming through. At least Washington gets that way.
