No team is trading for RG3 because he is being released.

Six teams in the league need a QB.

Jets, Texans, Rams, Eagles, Browns, 49ers. Only options in free agency are Fitzpatrick, Bradford. Throw in Kap, RG3, Manziel and maybe even Peyton or Brock Oz. Peyton won't get paid the $21 million if he doesn't retire and some team might offer Brock a monster deal if Denver lets him get that far.

Jets will settle for Fitz.
49ers will keep Kap one more year with the new coach.
No one would go to the Browns willingly, so I think they keep Manziel for one more year.

That leaves Eagles, Texans, Rams.

I think all those teams will be in the mix for RG3 or Bradford (minus the Rams for Bradford).

It would get interesting if Brees or Manning was released.

Exactly, that's why I said that Washington has no leverage. But let's pretend you're one of those six teams that you named that need a quarterback. If your front office truly thinks RG3 is the answer, do you risk waiting until he gets released and is a free agent? You know Washington is going to release him anyway. So you say F it, here's a 6th round pick for RG3. Washington, knowing they're going to release him since they're not going to pay him his $16 million, says sure, at least we get something out of nothing.

You're joking right, Dalton was there last season, same outcome, the year before that..same I think

I guess you would have gotten rid of Peyton then. His first five years he never won a playoff game. Dalton I think is entering his prime. I think they will win a playoff game next year.

With Lewis, Bengals are playoff guarantees year in and year out. Some of those losses are solely on the players, some of them are on him.

If it was a sixth round pick and I was one of those teams.... I do that deal in a heartbeat. I just think Washington would be asking to much in return considering what they gave up for him. Seems like teams are willing to sign him though and not trade. Watch he gets some crazy stupid amount from a bidding war :lol

I rather have RG3 than a QB from this years draft class to be honest. Build around him, show him confidence, and see what can be done.

So Big Ben has a shoulder sprain and torn ligaments, and is day to day. Wow. I'm no doctor, but torn ligaments doesn't sound good at all.

Wonder if they will let Ben wear a jersey with a different color on that shoulder so we all know which one is hurting him like he does with the different color shoes.
