Sean McDonough is one of the best PBP guys in the business and I'm happy he got the call to the big time with MNF.
If you want to hear awful announcing this Berman/Young team is right up there. I think at one point Berman said "long short punt". I'm still trying to figure that one out.
Oh brother what a horrible wk 1 in the NFL this has been.. Lousy offenses, bad play calling, subpar QB play.. Mostly this wk 1 was a Defense lovers dream. No game this WK 1 was a standout.
Hoping WK 2 we get more TDs and exciting plays.
This had to be a Knightmare week for Fantasy football. How can anyone in the Fantasy league score big.
The Rams need Jared Goff to start real soon or anyone else other than Keenum. Once a play is called from the sidelines, Case Keenum will stick through with it as planned. The problem with that is, if the defense has your play matched up, and you still follow the plan, you waste a down or risk getting the ball turned over. A good QB should be able to recognize the field and make adjustments.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Redskins will never amount to anything while Dan Snyder owns the team. His egotistical ass bought them because he thought that would get them back to the Superbowl since he's a fan. I know Jerry Jones is bad but at least you can point to the dynasty they had in the 90's for proof he knew what he was doing at one point in time. There's nothing to show Snyder knows a damn thing about building a winning organization.
You nailed it. Fisher needs to step up and keep his team focused.I respect Fisher..but man you got to control the team mister. I know the Rams were dirty in St Louis but they are back in SoCal, Hollywood.
You think Philly, NY, Cleveland, Pittsburgh is tough on their teams. What do they think L.A. is going to be like. Double that. L.A. fans has been wanting a NFL team for decades.
Not to mention L.A. Is a media fest. Maybe Fisher this should be his last year.
You nailed it. Fisher needs to step up and keep his team focused.
Case in point: last night DT Aaron Donald grabs an opposing player at the back of his neck, taunts a ref, and when he was ejected from the game, slams his helmet into the grass.
We've been wanting a team here for decades and I'm glad we finally have one. But this isn't the kind of team I will stand behind.
Moving forward... Seahawks are coming into town this Sunday. Oh boy.....

There were actually some good games this weekend (GB/Jax, Minn/Tn, etc.). I think LA is just garbage. They are replacing the cleveland browns as the worst.
I think the Pats and GB showed the most upside with weekend. Steelers took advantage of an imploding WSH team. Steelers will be good though. Denver will lose some games.
Cousins was pretty smart..regardless if they tank he's got $20 mill coming to him in Feb
I don't think the folks in LA will care because it's LA. It's more a socializing event whereas in Pittsburg, Green Bay, Philly, etc....It's all the average Joe lives and breaths this time of year.
Yep, any sane person in the DMV area knows how bad Dan Snyder is. I try to temper the expectations of my friends who are Washington fans, but they don't listen. They look at Cousins' year last year and see another division championship this year. They see the signing of Josh Norman and that bolsters their opinion. Don't get me wrong, last year was a good year for Washington, but these fans forget that Washington was last in the division two seasons ago, and therefore played a fourth place schedule last year. From the Washington Post: "Washington only played three teams in 2015 that finished the year with a winning record. In those games, against New England, Carolina and the New York Jets, Washington lost by a combined score of 105-46. And in the playoffs, it lost 35-18 at home to Green Bay." Additionally, Tony Romo's injury and the implosion of the Chip Kelly experiment helped Washington win the division.
EDIT: And if the Steelers can ever get Big Ben, Antonio Brown, and Leveon Bell on the field together at the same time, watch out AFC (although DeAngelo Williams has been MORE than serviceable...).
