yes and no. Last I had heard was SDSU plus the city had offered a lot and has Spanos used the 550M plus what they originally planed to spend they could have got it done, I think he checked out when they didn't pass the bill.

Do you think Spanos could be thinking of selling the team? The franchise will probably be worth more in LA than SD. Maybe he wants to see if a move pockets him more money in a sale.

Two prime time playoff games on Sunday now. The Steelers/Chiefs Divisional Playoff game has been moved from 1:00 to the night cap at 8:20 because of an ice storm.

Ok, for fun I’ll make my guesses.

NE over Houston – Pats won’t even break a sweat

Pitt over KC – I would love to see the Chiefs win but I think Pitt has too much firepower.

Green Bay over Dallas – No Jordy Nelson hurts but I think Prescott finally shows he’s a rookie and Packers take ‘em out

Atlanta over Seattle – the Seahawks fan in me says Seattle and I think they have a better overall team and much more playoff experience but Seattle has been too inconsistant. You have no idea if the team that lost to GB or the team that beat NE shows up. It pains me to do it but I have to say Atlanta.

For *****s and giggles:

NE over Houston. Unless Jadaveon Clowney has a monster game and manhandles the Patriots O-Line by himself, this is not even a contest.

Seattle over Atlanta. Without Earl Thomas, the secondary is definitely vulnerable. Seattle O-Line is in shambles as well. But until Matt Ryan can show he can win in the post season as well as the regular season, I have to go with the more experienced Seattle team.

Sundays game: Both Green Bay and Pittsburgh are the leagues hottest teams, peaking at the right time. So...

Pittsburgh over KC. Tyreek Hill is a game breaker. But the bad weather this weekend neutralizes his speed and elusiveness. Pitt leans on LeVeon bell and his patient running style. I see 30 carries for Bell.

Dallas over Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers has been on fire...but Dallas will give Green Bay a healthy dose of Zeke. The defense makes enough plays to win a close game.

Not sure. I'm not sure it's worrth 550M more in LA with no Stadium of your own than in SD. While I love the Chargers in SD it wasn't all roses either, they had plenty of games that wouldn't sell out or only sell out because team bought last of the tickets. But I am not sure it will be much better in LA. I have said for years only teams that do well in La outside the Lakers is winners. If your not winning we don't care. We have so many other things to keep our attention. Certain games will do well with transplants. Raiders games will be like road games for sure, they were almost road games in SD.

Looks like Hester has found a new home. His kick and punt returns were the most exciting plays in Seattle's game today.

Been a while but it looks like we will have a SB, when we will not have a potent defense going in for the NFC :horror

I thought Seattle would do better than this

Seems like the Hawks under Carroll have no identity without Beast Mode even with Wilson. I can see now that having lynch in the playoffs in the Carroll/Wilson era really made them a different team :dunno
