I need Titans over Texans tomorrow with a total points of 42 or higher. If less than 35, it's a tie, and if Texans win it's a loss.

42, is that on a teaser card or something? The official line is at 48, and I personally think it will stay under that.

The hits just keep coming for the Steelers. Snarly Snatch is having season ending surgery on his wrist. Now if Big Ben can't go this week, they'll have to rely on Dennis Dixon.:horror:horror:lol

Whats scary about this is now I have a bad feeling they will try to rush Ben back since they have never said it a concussion. This will allow him to skip the testes that they have to do, allowing him to play and risk his long term health.

Not in today's NFL. They're taking this stuff seriously now.

Steeler Nation!

Let's take a look at this phrase.

Steeler Nation...hmmm...there are things to like and dislike about this phrase. But first I would like to point out that the Team's name is Steelers, plural, not Steeler, singular. And so it is not correct to say Steeler Nation, but rather Steelers Nation. We should leave the grammar challenges to the raiders and cowboys fans.
Now...on to the break-down.

To like - it is Steelers-related.

To dislike - The term _____ Nation seems to me to have it's root somewhere around the raiders. And to associate the Steelers with the raiders is like...well...it is much like associating God (The Steelers) with Satan (the raiders). It is simply blasphemous

And as there is absolutely zero reason to hate on the Steelers...there is no call for it.

I don't dwell on trivial semantics.

Okay, I really dislike the Steelers.:emperor

Maybe, but I don't think they will take a chance with their franchise QB.
When your down to the back up to the back up, have a division rival to play and cant afford to many more loses or the season may be over you migt be surprised what they will do. Trust me I hope they dont but I just have a bad feeling on this one.

Just the tie breaker. 3 of us were tied with 9 correct pics. Of those three, one person took Texans, and two of us took titans. So then it goed to "Guess combined score without going over." Someone else had 35 and I have 42.

I asked the guy who runs it what if it doesn't go over 34 points (so essentially we both went over). Personally, at think the pot should be split that point. But he said if both parties go over, it's then cloest to the original score.

So I'm hoping for a high scoring game tonight.
