So they Giants won’t be trading OBJ if they want two first round picks. He is good but he is not worth a QB level trade.

Well their receivers are subpar , so they really don’t have a choice do they . I think they should give him up and get some FA receivers

I wouldn't even give up one first round pick for him. He's a head case coming off a injury. There's a reason the Giants are willing to part with him. If he continues to act up or loses his shyte this year and gets suspended, the Giants won't even get a first rounder for him next year. Giants should take what they can get for him and move on. Let him be some other teams headache.

Why did the Giants give up on Cruz so early just because OBJ had a good first year in the NFL, should’ve kept him as a third receiver because of OBJ behavior

Giants ain’t moving him unless they get equal talent back.

You never get equal talent back when you do trades like that. Its the NFL version of the NBA salary dump. Heck the last trade I can think of that was talent for talent was Clinton Portis for Champ Bailey.

Exactly. OBJ is a head case and a malcontent. He's a step away from getting suspended by the League or the team if he can't keep himself in check. Talent will only take you so far. Ask players like TO or Marshall. Those guys are great talents that teams couldn't wait to get rid of. Malcontents eventually become journeymen players in the League because no team can deal with their antics for very long.

He just wants to get paid. He’s crazy if he thinks he can get a contract to be the highest paid player in the league though.

Let’s see he says he won’t play without a contract , no way the giants give him a contract this offseason so... he is either not going play and still have another year before FA or he is going to roll the dice.

He sure doesn't act like he wants to get paid. If a player wants a team to pay him then don't...urinate like a dog in the end zone after a TD, take a trip to Miami while the team is preparing for a playoff game (in which he disappeared), blow up repeatedly on the sides line, get kicked out of games for repeated personal fouls, or get suspended for violating League rules. I know you're a Giants fan BR and that OBJ is a incredibly talented WR but his antics are costing him big time. If he would just be a pro and commit to playing ball, he would've already got his extension and money. Instead, the Giants are entertaining trade offers for him. The reason why should be obvious.

You forgot the latest were it looked like he was smoking weed and the girl had coke.

A lot of NFL players smoke weed.

I ALWAYS laugh at players who get pinched for drugs and then get suspended. Anyone who's willing to jeopardize millions of dollars in salary to get high deserves whatever fate they get. If smoking weed is more important to a player than getting paid...I wouldn't want that kind of stupid on my team if I was an owner. I don't care how much talent a player may have, he's one random piss test away from being suspended.
