You at least won the first game.

Yeah...and apparently that gets Garrett an extension. He’s not a horrible coach by any means...but he hasn’t been able to get Dallas over the hump. Expecting more of the same the next few years.

That fourth and one play where Zeke was stopped in the third quarter was really the turning point of the game. Had Dallas converted and scored, that would have changed the complexion of the game. With Dallas’ offensive line nowhere near as good as it’s been in the previous years, I was hoping they’d call a bootleg for Prescott...like the Rams did with Goff to get a new set of downs to end the game.

One final comment: I haven’t seen CJ Anderson play in years (back to the Broncos Super Bowl run) but he looked positively stocky out there...thought I was watching Craig “Iron Head” Heyward running the ball.

Tonight was Suh's first career playoff victory.

Andrew Wentworth’s first as well :lol you never think about the players that have been in the league for so long but never made it far because their teams sucked , it’s really crazy

ironic how both Peters and Talib have been and won a SB

Don’t blame Cooper for losing it, look at his past teams, who knows when he will get this close again :lecture

One sucky team gone... thank you Rams. Now if we can just lose Philly and NE tomorrow everything will be great.

NFL Thread (?)

Did the original NFL thread get deleted? I can’t find it and my posts from last night don’t show up in my “latest posts”.

Re: NFL Thread (?)

Bump from 10+ pages.

I guess the original NFL thread did get deleted. Noticed my post count (not that I care about it) dropped by about 1,300.

Was the thread purposefully deleted, or was it collateral damage with all this recent spam?

Anyways, good answer by the Chargers.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a game end so long after it was over. 8 straight AFCCG is pretty astounding. Keep Burkhead’s helmet away from Brady’s hand this year.:lol

Yeah, after the Chargers answered New England’s first TD...there was no answer.

And thanks to the mod that “stickied” this thread.

It doesn’t hurt that they play in the worst division over that time and has helped them get a bye virtualy every year.

Tired argument. In the Belichick Era they have a winning percentage of .741 against their division and .737 against the rest of the league. Essentially the Patriots have won the vast majority of their games no matter division or conference. They have winning records against every team except the Panthers and Giants who have gone 3-3 against them during this run.

Still helps come playoff time no matter what. Sure they have been good in the regular season too but when you ZERO challenge in the division it makes everything easier to get to playoffs. You have to go lil better than .500 outside the division and you probably get a first round bye.
