Actually, pre-Rivers, I was a Chargers fan of sorts. I always picked them in Madden and benched Brees for Doug Flutie

If the Vikes lose next week, i'm happy the way the season ended up. And you should feel the same way about the Saints if they lose. (beating the Cowboys was soooo sweet hated em since i was a kid, i actually lost my voice from yelling today, and my daughter is scared of me!)
Also that TD at the end of the Vikes game to run the score up a little, brought a tough of glee to my heart that will takes weeks to fade. (especially after all the Cowboys fans ____talking this week)

Maybe they just don't read this thread much. I really don't care much about football, but I used to date a Jets fan so......gotta root for someone in the playoffs.

As much as I would like to see that, it will NEVER happen.
I didn't say they weren't good, or that they would be easy to beat by anybody. After last week I did say the Jets could beat them and you spent a fair amount of time trying to prove me wrong, hurling insults, etc. Try to save face all you want, but what happened happened, and now you look like the guy who "hates admitting things" and/or "doesn't have any football knowledge." As you said in response to another of my posts recently, "Get over it."

JediMike and myself have different perspectives, but we cheer for the same team at the end of the day. I say find common enemies. . .like the Cowboys!
Related to this, this thread ends up being the most heated I've seen on this forum (admittedly, I don't venture into the Star Wars section). If I were the admin, I might consider a rule about "no religion, politics, or sports talk." Seems like everyone thinks they are an expert, and are ready to defend their wacky opinions to the death (self included). Shouldn't be that way, since it's just football, but. . .since it matters so much to us, I guess that's inevitable.

I would like to see the Saints against the Colts in the Super Bowl. Yeah, everyone posting in this thread knows I am a HUGE Saints fan. So for them to make it to the Super Bowl for the very first time in their team's history would be incredible. A childhood dream of mine was to see them go to the Super Bowl and win it!
As for the Colts, I'd rather see them go instead of the Jets. I like the Manning family. I'm a fan of Archie, Peyton and Eli. Plus the fact that the Manning boys grew up down here in New Orleans.
