Don't forget the overturned TD just before the slide, I will agree he probably wasn't in,but there was no look that showed 100% he didn't score. Even if there was it wouldn't show he was down on the 1 yd line , maybe the 6 in line.

If the Luck leads them to the playoffs that would be amazing, I expect them to be middle of the road team, but It seems pretty obvious that they made the right choice over RG3

Yep! Agreed! If we at least win more than 3 games ill be happy. I have a feeling more will be won though. Playoff would be freaking amazing but im not counting on it. I am happy to see them look much better than last year. and Luck is really exciting to watch. The kid knows how to play. win or lose it should be a good season over all.if they keep giving it their 100%

I agree about the overturned TD call, no conclusive evidence to make the call. Calling his slide started about a half yard short of the goal line a TD and the replay official (who are not replacements) saying no reviews, it's good, was far worse. They started this every scoring play is automatically reviewed to avoid that exact crap from happening. Had this been a regular season game and the Colts won by that score, and the Steelers miss a play off spot by one game, then that's the exact type of controversy they are hoping to avoid by using the automatic review.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised this season. They finally have attitude, Luck is by far the superior QB to RGIII, and the AFC South are all having major QB concerns- Schaub can not stay healthy in Houston, and Tennessee and Jacksonville do not have the franchise QB to lead them to a winning record. I honestly would not be surprised if Indy wins the division. But we have yet to see Luck in a real pressure cooker scenario, so that's the big ? in Indy.

8-8 here we come!

These replacement officials are frustrating. I hope they have a resolution with the real officials soon.

On a better note after tonight I don't have to hear Randy Cross and Don Criqui call a game until next August or the Pats could hire better preseason broadcasters.

Just based on the games I have seen so far, and despite the fact that I have my own favorites from the regulars that I miss seeing on the field, I don't notice a big difference in missed calls from the regulars to the replacements officials. I do hear a lot of hate for them from the commentators during the games, though. But I have chalked it up to union people hating on people they see as "scabs".

me either, to be honest seems to be less calls and keeps the game flowing. They arent missing any blatant calls just not tossinng the flag for every ticky tack call.

And like the regulars, I do not mind if they are a little less than perfect. So long as there are no Suh-esqu assaults, and stuff does not get out of hand...let them play!

The officials are terrible. They all sound like they have a speech impediment, and I've seen some unbelievably blatant calls they've missed. There's no consistency with them. With the regulars, at least you know what to expect with them.

Do anyone else thing Luck sounds like an inbred drag queen? I know the guy is super intelligent, but everytime I hear him talk it cracks me up.

He sounds like Andre the Giant. I keep waiting to hear if he's going offer anyone a peanut.
