How about them Buccaneers again... an ugly win but a win none the less. If they can get that secondary taken care of in the off season they could be a scary team next year.

How bout them falgoons! LOL So glad them basta#ds got beat...even if it was by the 'aints.

I don't mind the Falcons... actually I kind of like all the teams in Tampa's division. I seem to hate the teams in their old NFC North division more (except Minnesota.) :)

I don't...I hate the falcons and saints with a burning passion. More so the falcons...which is why after the panthers got there azzes handed to them....it makes it more bearable watching them lose, FINALLY

No matter how good the Falcons are, year after year they can never play well in their own division. It's a constant struggle for them. I really wouldn't be surprised to see losses to NO, Tampa, and Carolina next time around.
I predicted the Saints would win one of their two games with ATL this year, just because that's the way the division games go in the NFC South. Forget how good teams look vs. everybody else, the playing field tends to get leveled when they are playing in the division. I thought today's game was a good one, and not just because the Saints won. Boggles the mind why Gonzales was left open as often as he was in the red zone, but. . .that's Saints defense for you. Funny that the announcers were commending the Saints D at the end, who let the Falcons score 27 points, but by their typical standards they actually did play very well, stepping up in some clutch situations down the red zone. Saints offense was as good as it gets today, with a nice running game going in the first half. Both teams seemed to be equals today, so the Saints were fortunate to come away with the win.

This can't be stressed enough. The ATL-NO showed it, as did NE-Buffalo.

As for the Falcons, losing this one may be a blessing. They can continue to navigate what is a pretty favorable remaining schedule without the specter of 16-0.

If you can't make a yard you don't deserve to win.

Sounds like the Panthers game vs the falcons...which we should have won, however... bad teams do not win at the very end when the game is on the line. Falcons just did not get the lucky end of the stick against the saints in the dome. As crappy as it is seeing the saints win a game...its much better watching the falcons lose.

Really looking forward to the Bears/Texans....

Was this stipulated at the beginning? I thought a tie moves you on?

It's in the rules up front:

Win and move on.
Lose, tie or forget to pick....cya next year.

And I even explained it numerous times in the thread when asking who wanted to join since several hadn't played before and didn't know the rules.

FINAL
Detroit......24
Minnesota..34

1. Nice to see the coaching staff make some offensive scheme adjustments this week. An overall good game plan.

2. At 6-4, still in the playoff mix...for now.

3. No Percy Harvin.

4. Adrian Peterson's rushing yards over the past 4 games....

Arizona - 153 yards

Tampa - 123 yards

Seattle - 182 yards

Detroit - 171 yards

All this and he's coming off of ACL surgery just 9 months ago. What a beast!
