I hate shoot outs! I was at the Bears and Phantoms game this Saturday and it went into a shootout and the Bears lost.

It was a really good game though. Lots and lots of fights. Plus I was entertaining for my company so it was nice to sit in the box seats and drink the free booze.

Screw the Penguins. They all look like they fell off the short bus. Especiall Malkin and the other douche. I can't remember his name but when he looks at the camera his eyes are facing opposite directions.

Malkin looks like Jim Carey with a serious mental retardation thrown in.

I am partial to both. I like a definite winner vs. an undecided game. Having said that, I hate how it goes from a team game for the first initial 65 minutes and ends off with an individual's effort to decide the fate of the game.

The SO is a fun "gimmick", but not the way to decide a 60 min game IMO. It's a skills competition and nothing more. I just hate seeing something like that award points in the standings.

I love how the NHL players are putting a grand on the line each for the slapshot competition. How weak of Chara to give a grand to charity, when he makes over 7 million US per season. It's like me giving a quarter to charity, yet it makes the home page of nhl.com. Pony up big boys. You're getting paid ridiculous amounts to play a game... geeit on it!
