I'm not shocked that the Sharks won, but Joe Thornton actually showing up when it matters is pretty surprising.:horror

It's sad that on Sportsnet the guy said he scored his biggest goal of his career, and he's played in over 1,000 career games (playoffs included) and his biggest goal came in the FIRST round. Sounds like another guy, Marcel Dionne. hehe Granted Dionne still was a PPG player throughout his post season career. For a fatso, that guy sure could play some stick puck on ice.

Re: Philadelphia Flyers Game 7..

Man U 2-0 Schalke

1-0 Schalke...goal from Raul. :)

Personally I don't say the Nucks either, but since it bugs Keith, I feel compelled to do it. Just for him. hehe :monkey3

Also, as fans we can't say that.. so on that note! GO CANUCKS GO! Win in Game 7! You can do it! Lets not be pessimistic and negative. Fans stick through it, even at the worst of times. It's still a 3-3 series. Vancouver has the fire power and the team to put these Hawks away. They just need to gain back that ground they had before they were in this recent slump. It's not over until the fat lady says so, and I see no fat ladies around.

Couldnt have said it better myself Eli:hi5:

I'm not sure what has been worse tonight the referees ridiculous calls or Spacek's Academy award level acting in getting Lucic thrown out.

They might as well skip the third and start preparing for game 7 now.

So if Canadiens fans deemed Pacioretty to be Wolverine what does that make Spacek?

Re: Philadelphia Flyers Game 7..

This isn't that bad of a thread actually compared to some of the gems I've read so far. Yes this question should have been asked in the NHL thread that already exists, but when your talking about the best team in hockey they deserve a separate thread. Thanks!

Based on those multiple cups they have right??

Eli, I know your an optimist, and I hope your right, but I think Pens are done tomorrow

Vancouver will win this series if they keep applying the pressure they showed in the last few minutes of the 2nd period. WOW!

Duncan Keith looks burned out. He keeps turning the puck over to the Canucks, and you can tell logging 30+ minutes per game is rearing its ugly head. The Canucks have been pressing hard and a lot of those players who have been so dominate (Edler sacrificing his body from a point shot) to Bieksa controlling a breakout or Hansen pressing Crawford hard in the offensive zone, you gotta love that they are all former Moose players. GO CANUCKS GO! GO MOOSE GO!

btw My Moose just came back from a 3-1 deficit to the baby Avalanche (Lake Erie Monsters) and have won the series 4-3! Hello Hamilton for Round 2! :rock

1-1, we're going into OT. Gotta give it to Toews, that was an impressive one man effort to break through 2 Canuck players then to score the game-tying goal on his stomach. A shorty.

Gonna take a ugly goal to beat Crawford, a butt ugly goal, he has been a brick wall in the past two periods.

MANITOBA MOOSE FIND BURROWS SCORES THE TWO GOALS AND THE SERIES WINNER! WOOHOO!!!! CRAIG HEISINGER IS AWESOME!

Woohoo!!!

:fireworks :fireworks

CANUCKS FOR THE WIN, HECK YEAHHHHH!!!!!!! What an intense game, way to go Burrows Luongo and the rest of the crew, Simply Fantastic!!
