It's Saturday, and yeah, I agree, Schneider should start. I met Schneider and had a talk with him. He signed a jersey he wore for a March 2009 game. His jersey is huge. He said I am really honest because I told him, while my buddys said he was a bust, I said, be patient folks, he is going from the transition of college to pro hockey. Also playing under a new coaching staff and new system. Give him time, and within a few weeks he turned his game around completely. Sometimes I am too honest.

Okay, I think I need a beer or six to calm down after that. I love/hate these OT games. Much better with the favorable results though.

Way to ____ the bed today pens. They played a great opening 14 minutes of hockey. Once they choked on yet ANOTHER powerplay it all went downhill. Right now our PP is clicking along at a rocking 4%. Our "league high" PK is a whopping 68% I believe. 5 on 5 we have no problem. If it gets into a special team game we're screwed.

There's nothing more exciting than OT in the playoffs, but it's way too stressful when the Bruins are in one.

I still can't believe Thomas made that lunging save on Gionta in the 2nd OT. I thought it was over as soon as he took the shot.

I unfortunately had to miss it as I was out, but I can say that that game was bound to happen. Having no Jeffrey, Crosby, and Malkin in the lineup hurts big-time... I am just thrilled that this Pens team has been able to have the success it has had. I look at this as a win-win. If we lose the series I we can be happy to have said they made it to a Game 7 with this roster, and if we win, it's even more exhilarating.

I wish game 7 would just be up north. Flyers play better on the road. The only reason the Sabers are in this is play of the goalies. Miller is amazing and the Flyers goalies are giving up huge leads to start the game by letting soft goals in.
