I actually already started it. I have finished the head and headpiece (still unpainted). While I was looking at images, I found this. And I thought 3 things:
1. I like the classic look.
2. It is easier
3. I will wait till the new one comes out so I can see the final images of his out.

To be honest, I have a good material for the suit... I am just worried around how well I can pull off the straps and buckles, and diffent materials. So the short answer is... Maybe. Haha.

The classic look is awesome. On a lot of my play throughs on NGB I used the classic costume the most. If you offer figure of Classic Ryu, depending on price, I'd love to be added.

What body is he on?

Beautiful work! That is a great choice of body and foot wear! Is the costume custom made? It looks really nice!

Any plans on doing the black Ninja Gaiden outfit?

For this suit, the comedian boots and suit would work perfectly!

Thanks! The feet were purchased from TA and painted. They are the GI Joe Red Ninja feet. The head is based off a heavily modified and repainted Beachhead. The sword is a repainted Ignite ninja sword. The rest is all custom made.

dude u make sum of the best ninjas! first Mk now this!

Thank you good sir! What can I say? I love Ninjas!

Simple and unique, it makes me want to make one for myself
congrats!

You should! Really, this one is pretty simple. The hardest part was the head wrap. Trying to minimalism the amount of "bulk" took some playing around

I would just like to add if you ever decide to sell the clothing and full costume then i would love to be added to the list.

The hard part is to get it too look like this, you need the Billy Sole body. I just don't think it would look as good without that body. Plus with the painted feet, and custom head... it wouldn't almost have to be the "complete" figure... know what I mean?

Count me in if so!

See above. IF I make them though, I will let ya kow!

dude if u ever decide to make a ryu hayabusa from ninja gaiden (the updated version) i wud so b all over that!, your work and sewing is flawless bro. keep up the great work!

Just a fun little update:

1. I have been working on sculpting some of the Armour from the new Ninja Gaiden games... nothing to show yet, but progress is being made!

2. Got the approval to show this!

Later this month, on the 15th, a tutorial that I have written for PSDtuts+ will be available to Tuts+ members. This tutorial details the creation process of the artwork of the package for this fictional figure. This is actually a 2-part tutorial (Part 1 - Package artwork & Part 2 - Promotional Render). Of course I couldn't use real names or characters or companies... so this is for ONE6 STUDIOS new Hanzo Hayabusa 1/6 Scale Collectible figure from the NINJA series!

For those who may not know, I work as a graphic designer at my 9-5 job. For years, I worked at the world's largest branding firm doing package design for all kinds of products. I have been writing tutorials for the PSDtuts website for a few years now. I really enjoy it! It is fun helping others learn how to use Photoshop.
