Man, lost an auction for $115 just a day or two ago, now they're upwards of $350+
I don't know much about the technical issues associated with these things, but when a 15 year old system (DS) can play NES, SNES, Neo Geo, etc. games really well, and store every game in those catalogs on a single mini SD card, Nintendo should surely be able to put out a system today that can do what they need in this regard. My guess is the innards of the NES Classic are being used for a SNES Classic this year. Probably didn't have the production power to make both. The NES Classic is actually powerful enough to emulate an N64 at around 85% speed. Crazy.
Anyone know if these can still be bought at retail before they retire it? Want to get one as a gift for a buddy's youngling.
