If your talking about the blue coins, then after you collect/shoot them all you unlock a new weapon. Its been awhile since I played it, but you buy it from the vendor guy.

Just talking about the regular gold coins (on the wii they're gold, not sure about on the original). Buying weapon upgrades = sweeeet.

you mean the pesatas? you can buy upgrades/new guns from the vendor. BUT, a lot of the times, you get new weapons anyway, so don't buy a lot of new ones from the merchant.

Yeah I love the cool/creepy music that comes on when theres a villager nearby that needs to be killed.

I may just be me, but I didn't find RE4 as scary and creepy as the previous games. There were no cutscenes of you walking up creepy stairs with a black screen, or darkened rooms with creepy music. I loved the game, but I don't think it was as scary as RE1 or RE2

I totally agree, the fact that it is (so far for me, haven't played the whole game yet) mostly outside and in smaller houses makes it not so creepy to me. I just dig the music.

the "run" button is your friend in the beginning, later on you can unload on him.
