Last year possibly longer I had to post on here as I had contacted toys2.net about an order I had placed with them, I waited months with no reply (using their own form to email) on their website.

Eventually someone from this board (possibly OSW) contacted them, I received an email from someone at toys2 a few days later, and everything was sorted

A couple of months ago I had to contact them again, Ive tried 3 times now without a response.

I ordered the DX batman (at the time I ordered using the postal payment option, cause you can cancel that without cancellation charges)

Anyway I decided I wanted the DX batman for certain and a few weeks later I cancelled via email the DX postal order, and re-ordered using the cc option

Ive asked for confirmation that the original postal order is cancelled and that the CC order is confirmed

But after 3 repeated attempts over 2 - 3 months nothing

Id also like to know if they are checking their DX's before posting them out to us International customers given the reported problems with deformed heads and issues with the rubber suit

As I dont want to have to pay for International postage to send the defective batman back !!!

If your out there toys2 or if anyone can get in touch with them can they contact me please !

I dont know if its only me ? with contact issues ? (given my issues now and in the past) It shouldnt be as I have no known issues with any other address's or websites !

Im posting here and on OSW so they can address the concerns and points I have.

Thx very much !

What is it with all these slagging posts lately???

I d like to see the Mods come down on it,we only EVER get one side of the story and everyone whos been in the frame I ve dealt with and they ve been an absolute pleasure.

I feel for you buddy.
I have never received a response email from them either EVER!

Their actual service in terms of delivering a quality product that is packaged well is second to none. I just wish their customer service was just as perfect. Anyways, people throw the name "Eric" around here quite a bit, so if I were you, I would find out if there is another email you should be sending to that maybe they actually respond.

Try to be considerate:mad:
There is no slagging going on, the original poster does not even intend to cancel their order. They are only asking for a response to avoid international headaches later. They are just looking to see if there is another avenue to connect with toys2 because there is no contact from their posted email address. Geesh!

I AM being considerate!!

Im considering the snowball effect on businesses that have been built up over years of hard work by all the petty whining that goes on because somebody does nt get a response the very second they post the enquiry.

TC, have you even tried calling them? Their phone number is listed on their website: 905-470-0007. They probably get hundreds of emails per week, so spending the $5 for the phone call is probably your best bet.

I emailed them about canceling an order and have gotten no reply yet, and that email was sent months ago.

I just had an issue with an order only a few days ago. Sent them a message through their form on their site, and the issue was cleared up the next day. Never had any problems! :D

Maybe we don't know the details in full, but out of compassion for your fellow collector, we should give him the benefit of the doubt that if they are posting a thread for help, then they have probably provided adequate time for Toys2 to respond to their emails. This thread also has a purpose as nobody is being bashed. There is clearly a desire for help being expressed by the original poster. I would help, but can't since I have had similar issue with Toys2 and not receiving responses to any emails that I have sent. If you are so confident with their "hardworking" business, maybe you could help the original poster by sending off an email perhaps?

Oy

Ive waited months not seconds

I posted 12 months ago the very same issue, and low and behold I got a response 12 months ago when I posted my issue publically, after yet again waiting months, I thought Id try the same again, hence this thread

They probably just dont like you. Never have any problems emailing Eric

I dont give a rats if they dont like me, if they take my money they deal with me

I just want to communicate with them FFS

So far the only way Ive been able to get a response from them is when I post publically

Seems that gets their attention

If you get a response from Eric via email Wanderer, when I cant, maybe youd be so kind as to point him at this post ???? Being a fellow Manc an all

as for the phone call option ! WTF ! Why do I need to make an international telephone call ! to ensure that everythings taken care of, Ive waited months !

Its a $200 figure I dont need any extra charges (all be it $5.00 as was quoted) ???

Ive had 3 figures from Toys2 over the past 18 months and apart from the Joker communication problem (the very same communication issue I had 12 months ago which I had to post on here) never had problems.

Hey it maybe that everythings taken care of, 1st orders cancelled, 2nd will be fullfilled and without any posted issues weve seen so far, but why do I need to be in the dark about it ? all it takes is a 1 minute reply, ffs its only courteous !

Have you tried posting threads such as these in the other 1:6 forums? This should give them a "scare", and they should act out of fear of getting bad reputation. :)

I only really use SSF and OSW

the last time I posted I remember seeing some a part of the eventual email response (possibly Eric cant remember) which included someone from Toys2 having a go at someone else in Toys2 over not responding to emails

I dont care if they have another ear bashing or sack the guy but all I want is a reply ! I dont know if its a part time job or what ? but its only an email response ffs !

An acknowledgement that the form to email doesnt dissappear up its own arse !

Theres not even an auto responder on the site to say that the email was sent, just the return page saying thx for the enquiry !

Hey with SSC's new shipping policies the only thing that they have over Toys2 is customer service atm, Toys2 get that down and a proven record and they could grab so much SSC business for HT figures it would be untrue

Pick up the phone and call them I always call and they always answer.

Toys2 is an excellent company. When I pre-ordered Iron Man Mark 3 , I wasn't sure I had the funds to get it so I had to cancel. Then the next day I knew I would have enough so I called them back and they simply un-canceled it. Not only that but they actualy offered to call me when the product was in stock ahead of time and ask if it was ok to charge me.

One of the best stores Ive ever delt with next to Razors Edge.

Yeah, i would try calling.. The two times i called them, i was able to speak to someone and had my questions resolved over the phone.

A reply from Eric this evening:

Hi Jason,

Sorry for my late reply, because your email went to spam email inbox by some reason and I usually check the spam email inbox periodically.

I just realized that you are looking for me over onesixthwarrior concering the DX-Batman issue.

Regarding your DX-Batman order, I can check it before the figure ship out and will take you a pic for your confirmation.

Also, I note that your new order XXXXX is to replace your old order XXXXX

Any question, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks

Eric
