I wish they'd announce more 1/6 scale stuff. If the line is ending they should let us know to avoid posts like these.

The problem is the lengeth of time between announcements being a year more than "every two weeks".

All I collect is PF's. I don't collect the 1:6 LOTR or the LS busts. So yeah, over a year between Frodo and GTW announcements is ridiculous.

Frodo and Sam were announced 2 months ago my friend. Gandalf is at least 3 months ago. Hard to get saturated at this pace.

Exactly. While I don't expect an announcement every week, how about "something" at least once a month. Even split out between the different LOTR lines (1/6th figures, PF's, Dioramas and the busts) that would be at least a full 4 months between announcements for a specific line would be made. That would be only "3" pieces per line per year. Not exactly saturating the market there.

I hope the next PF announcement doesn't take as long as Gandalf did.

At any rate, I am more excited about the next Star Wars PF. But still anxious to see the next release in the LOTR line.

I'd like to see one new LOTR announcement a month. I'm not sure how realistic that is with the costumes on these guys. Now, the Dio's and LSB maybe you could do that.

I like the idea of one announcement a month, alternating between PFs and 12" figures and legendary busts and dioramas. But I don't think they could keep up with that pace.

I don't either. These are pretty complex pieces.

They seem to be doing a fine job of it with Marvel pieces.

They're also almost all poly with little detail work. The same can't be said for the LOTR items.

Since they came out with a new body I can't see them killing the 12" line until they make some money off of it. I would think that Merry, Pippin and Bilbo will at least be done. If they had unvieled a 12" figure instead of Frodo and Sam I might be starting to worry a little bit.

I have a feeling we'll get more use out of it in SW than LOTR.

We just got a PF and two 12" figures. I think the next announcement will be a diorama--but they might save that for next month. We will need some cool announcements during Spooktacular.

I'm afraid Tom's right. I don't expect anything soon. Ever hopeful, but not expecting.

Probably no SW either. Just the unveiling of the Aliens diorama. 2nd chance stuff. There's never much in the newsletter.
